Bob January 01, 2015 for Model Number GLWS1749AS4 I know about the parts on the agitator I removed everything to expose the bolt, the bolt seems seized I put a lot of torque on it any suggestions. Also before I go further than I have to my agitator is loose does this mean that I need a new agitator or can it be something else. There is a plastic washer in the top which seems to be tore up just asking before I go and spend a lot of money on a 11 year old washer
1 Answer Bob, The agitator being loose would be a agitator issue in which the agitator would need to be replaced. As for the bolt you would need to use penetrating oil to try to get it out. Other than that there would be no other way. Read More...

Steelers7 September 26, 2013 for Model Number GLWS1349AS1 On a tub seal, there are two parts. A big part with a spring in it and a smaller part made of brass with a rubber seal. Does the smaller rubber part of the seal go into the larger rubber part of the seal? Brass side to the tub or is it brass side to the large seal and the smaller rubber seal to the tub. Also, I removed the agitator and am trying to remove it again the place the brass correctly. Now the agitator does not want to come off. Can I use a pulley puller to get it off?
