What would be the second item to replace? "Dishwasher starts and stays in the wash cycle. It does not progess thru the cycle, it just keeps washing. Will replacing the board fix this issue? 1 Answer Hello Eric. You will need to test the heater 154825001 and the thermostat 154290204 and make sure they read closed for continuity. If either is bad, the dishwasher will continue to run to heat the water up to the correct temperature. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. April February 02, 2012 for Model Number Frigidaire DW: FDB1502RGB4 My dishwasher drain pump now runs all of the time. If the door is shut the drain pump is running. The tub is level, front to back and side to side. From the print it looks like there are no swithes that would affect the drain pump that could be stuck closed so is my only option to replace the board?

Pamela December 31, 2011 for Model Number 58715109801 Our dishwasher works through all the cycles but doesnt wash the dishes, when in the wash mode the water isnt sprayed to wash the dishes, but it will drain out the water at the end of the cycles. I suspect it is the circiut board but could it be something else
1 Answer Pamela, If you can hear the motor run, in the wash cycle, it's not the control. First thing, Check and make sure the water level is proper, after you start the dishwasher and let it run 5 minutes, unlatch and open the door, the water level should be at least 3/4 to 1 inch deep or even with the door opening bottom flange. 1 Answer Hi Kent. Look at the Drain hose connection at the sink. Is it clogged there at the hose end or the sink connector. Is the drain pump running? If so it is getting 120 vac. A weak pump impeller will spin loose on the pump shaft. Pump part # 154580301. 1 Answer Mike, There's no reason why you can't, Just remember to turrn the power off to the dishwasher first. Heres some basic help " Disconnect dishwasher from electrical supply. Remove six Phillips screws from top of inner door panel. Remove four screws securing protective cover around control board. Disconnect keypad ribbons from control board. Label and disconnect four wire terminals from control board. Disconnect large white wiring harness pin connector from control board. 7. For Selectronic models, remove pin connector from cycle selector switch. 8. Remove six screws securing control board to back of control panel." Reverse the procedure and check the unit for operation. I've checked the float in the bottom to make sure it wasn't stuck & also turned the breaker off to hopefully reset it with no luck. Is the control board bad or is there a reset somewhere on the unit?
