Serge for Model Number FGHD2465NF1A

I replaced Main Control Board on FGHD2465NF1A unit with part #5304514670 which is a replacement for #5304504782. The display and controls now behave completely differently from before. For example when choosing Normal cycle instead of previous "99+" on the LED display it now shows 33 and flashing "S" which I assume is for sanitizing. There is no combination that gets rid of "S" choice. Is it a bad part or something has changed in the way this Control Board operates?

1 Answer

Serge, the power supply would need to be turned off and the wire connections checked to ensure there is not a loose connection. If the failure continues, the control board 5304514670 would be an issue depending on what the original failure was.

Jstone, as there is only partial failure on the user interface, the failure would be in the console assembly 154639207. Unfortunately, this part has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is no longer available.
