Dan L. April 25, 2011 for Model Number frigidare refrig GLHS68EGQ2 I recently purchased a harness ribbon cable from you as I thought it would solve my problem. Then I installed it. The ice machine motor is tunring as if you were calling for ice, but it does not stop and I can't get water from dispenser. I put in new water filter and still have the problem. Is my next step replacing the board control part # ap3s60036 ?? Thank you.
1 Answer Hello Dan. You will need to check and see if one of the micro-switches 241689106 are bad or stuck. If the switches are good, you will need to see if the power board 241708102 is sending power to the motor. If so, you will need to replace the power board. You can test this with a multi-meter MA-DM1. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
