For Frigidaire Main Power Control Board (Refrigerator) (Part Number: OEM16822650)

Charles, Test the sensors in the unit to make sure that they are good. Also, if this is happening when the unit goes through the defrost cycle then this may be what is causing the unit to warm up which would not be abnormal except in instances when it is staying in defrost for too long. in this case, the thermistors or the main board would be the cause.

Bushmin, If there is no power from the main control board to any other components but there is power at the control board then this would be a faulty control board. All you can do is test power in and power out.

Mike, With the SY CF error code, this is a Communication failure after power up. You will want to check the wiring between the Main control board and the User interface. If the wiring checks ok then replace the user interface board and if the problem still exist replace the main control board. The User interface board is part number 241973711 and the main board is 242115239.

Jim for Model Number EW23BC71IS8

I had a ice mold failure. Replaced ice maker complete #243297606. Ice maker will not fill with water. I have water to door, and water is produced when doing ice maker diagnostic 55c. Upon entering ice maker test mode the manual says 48C or 40C (depending on model) should be displayed in right window. It does not. -26F in left and 52C in right. Next test using + is 55c and it produces approx. 1/4 cup of water, next is 57C evaporator fan activates using on/off, next 58C ice level, Er in left window ( with both old and new assembly). next 63C in right, 3 in left. I have checked for loose connections and broken wires and found none. Door seals are all tight. Freezer temp. is -4 verified with a thermometer. I also removed cover to coils and found no ice build up. I'm now bald from pulling hair out. Any suggestions?

Hello Jim, If connections to the new icemaker are good and the fill tube is not frozen up, you may need to consider replacing the new icemaker assembly 243297613. It is a commonly known fact that a new part can be defective, since they are manmade. There is also the possibility of a water valve 242252702 failure.

Marty, With both the ice and water not working and not getting power at the valve when you push the dispenser lever or when it calls for ice then the issue would most likely be the main control board.
