Joe September 08, 2013 for Model Number FRS6LF7JS3 Everything was working perfect on this and one day we went to get water out of the door and water came running out around control assembly. I took the cover off and saw where the tube had came out of the dispense hole. Replaced the tube and worked fine. Woke up the next day and had nothing. We have no lights lite up on the cover, it wont dispense ice, it wont let water flow out. The light in the freezer and ice making capabilities still works and I have power to the main board when door is closed as I checked with a meter. I have replaced the main board and ribbon cable already. Would it have shorted out the dispense board? Kinda getting tired of this trial by error thing. Thanks, Joe

Jerry August 09, 2013 for Model Number glhs66efsb1 My boy shorted out the ribbon cable/cut it with front cover. Ever since, as soon as you plug in ribbon cable ice maker starts running on its own. I replaced the ribbon cable but it still does the same thing. I've checked the microswitches and relays on the other board and all checked good. I was getting ready to order the push button control board.

Sherrie February 26, 2013 for Model Number glhs66ejwo When we use the water dispenser to get a glass of water, the ice maker over flows with water and leaks all in the freezer. The ice maker works just fine only leaks when we use the water dispenser. We were told to replace the intake water valve and did so and it did not fix the problem.

John January 25, 2013 for Model Number GLHS36EEQ0 After replacing the ice actuator and replacing the ribbon to the control board the unit will not dispense ice or water. When either lever is pressed the filter status light light comes on and goes off when the lever is released. Water filter was replaced and same problem.

1 Answer Hello Jose. The first thing you will want to test is the micro-switches 241689106 located inside the dispenser assembly. If they are sticking, the dispenser will continue to run.
