Dan December 11, 2012 for Model Number EI26SS55GSO The display shows CE.Unplugged for few minutes plugged in everything works fine but some of the touch pad buttons are not responding.Also there is a constant beeping noise . thanks

Vincent D. October 23, 2012 for Model Number EI26SS55GSO After midnight my Electrolux fridge will shutdown and come back on 2 to 3 times and shows a power fault each time. This happens about 3 times a night. Do you think it is the control or power board. I had the incoming power checked at the plug and all is good. The thing that gets me is it only happens between midnight and 7 am. This has been going on now for about a week.
1 Answer Hello Vincient, The first thing I would do is plug an alarm clock into the receptacle behind the refrigerator by itself and see if it is blinking in the morning. George M September 21, 2012 for Model Number Electrolux EW26SS65GS0 the unit displayed the CE code....unplugged for 5 mins and when I plugged in the refer started...The compressor ran for >5 seconds...the whole refer started cycling on and off about 10 times then everything powered down except the error code CE. I plugged in the unit and did an AMP draw while the compressor started it was around 10 amps. Question: Compressor or control board?

David June 16, 2012 for Model Number EI26SS55GS0 I am having problem with my electrolux refrigator. The alarm keeps sounding off at all times of the morning and day unable to control it. Its keeping me up late at night. Can you please assist me by telling what I might be able to do to fix this problem? Thanks
1 Answer Hi David. The alarm goes off even if there is a minute amount of internal groceries holding the door open, then this will sound the alarm. Open one door at a time and look at the side of it where it shuts against the cabinet. Most doors will "pull" themselves in as you get it within a couple of inches. Use a known good thermometer to put in the freezer and adjust the freezer no colder then 0°. Then put it in the fresh food and make sure it is between 37 and 47° as your controls are mid point. There are separate cavity sensor that ohms out to 10,000 ohms at 77 °. Use a volt/ohm meter part # MA-DM1 to assist you in your diagnostics.
