Inside lights do work. Checked all the connections on main board. Showing no codes. Any ideas?

Tracy K. October 29, 2015 for Model Number FGHS2344KF1 Had the SY CE error on the door. Changed the board-switch and door control-electrical as listed in other post. Now the temperature is showing, but the touch controls do not work. Lights inside and water works, but not ice. Also the board switch under the unit is not making a whining noise every 3-5 minutes.
1 Answer Hello Tracy, This fault code indicates an UI Main Control Board 5303918498 communication error. Notes: • Always check for pin back-outs, pinched or damaged wires before replacing components. • Determine whether failure is caused by the component, main control board or wiring. Read More...

1 Answer Hello Tracy, The error code that you are getting indicates a Evaporator fan motor 809069220 failure. You want to check the wiring at the fan motor and at the control board. Check for 12vdc to fan between red and brown wires. Check for variant voltage (depending on high or low speed) between yellow and brown. If it checks ok then replace the Evaporator fan. If error code still exists then replace main control board 5303918498. Read More...

Read More...
Virginia J August 31, 2015 for Model Number EI26SS55GS IQ-touch panel randomly changes on it's own (has been doing this for some time) and recently has shut the unit down completely twice. Pulled the plug, held down the on/off on display and it started working again; of course, beeping and doing its own thing. What are your thoughts?
1 Answer Virginia, Based on the issue with the unit is sounds like the keypad on the control is faulty and would need to be replaced. The part number that you would want to get is 5303918584. Read More...

Mardajam May 16, 2015 I replace the unit interface on my electrolux refrigerator and checked everything out and it all worked until I snapped the trim back in around the ice and water dispenser it turns off. I can remove the trim and turn the unit back on and it works fine as long as the trim is not put back in. I have checked all connections and none are loose. Has anyone heard of this happening ?
1 Answer Mardajam, This is not an issue that we have heard of but it almost sounds as if you have a shorted wire or a pinched wire when the trim is being reinstalled. Read More...
Bobby April 01, 2015 for Model Number EI26SS55GB0 My Ice dispenser stopped working and won't eject the ice. The Ice Maker works fine. The Auger is not turning. When I set the display for ICE and push in the paddle I hear the micro-Swich however the Ice Chute does not energize, open and the Auger motor does not start. The micro-switches test OK. I have changed out the Auger Motor and tested the old one. The old one was fine. The Auger switch in the refrigerator wall is good as well. When I depress the Auger switch I don't get an AC voltage drive power to the Auger motor. It appears to trace to the main power board. Can you tell me if this is what the cause is? I suspect this b/c the ice chute doe not open either.
1 Answer Hello Bobby, Voltage for the dispenser is routed through the main board 5303918523. It is also dependent on the dispenser board 5303918584 and the harness, (check the harness at the freezer door hinge for damage). If you find the voltage but it does not continue to the auger motor, the last component the voltage got to but didn't get back out of will be the problem component. You need to also check the connectors in the rear of the freezer compartment since they can lose connection, too. Read More...
Laurie March 31, 2015 for Model Number FGHS2344KF1 Fridge door panel for temperature selection, ice, etc. wouldn't change. Called a repairman, he said it was the main control board. Installed a new board, nothing comes on. Repairman said he would call the Frigidaire company to get help. No response from repairman as to why it won't work. I read that sometimes the user control and display board panel might need to be replaced. He ordered control board part #5303918498 from Electrolux. According to my research user control and display board part is #241973711. The fridge was manufactured in 2009 or 2010; it came with the housing when we purchased it. I have no information on when or where it was purchased. Do I need to replace the other board? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Laurie, The main board is 5303918498. The display board is 241973711. These two parts normally do not have to be replaced together. While the harness is a more likely place to locate an issue, the display board can fail so if it is bad it will need to be replaced. Note that the door switch can be an issue since it turns off the display board when the door is opened and should be checked. Read More...
