Hello Donna. If there is no cold water and you switched the hoses and still no cold, then the cold water supply is bad. Check the screens in the hose and the shut off for the water.

John, based on the issue it sounds like there may be a stuck key on the control board since the unit beeps as soon as power is applied. This would require a new user interface board.

Months ago I suddenly could not get my machine to work on the quick cycle. Then another couple of months went by and the Regular cycle wouldn't work. I can use the perm. press and the Large load cycle o.k, so far. I called the appliance store where I bought the machine in 3/06 and they said I needed a new control panel and use the machine until it died. I have had 3 previous times where I have had to have the control panel replaced. What is going on?

1 Answer

Janice, The first thing that you will want to do is access the tech sheet inside the unit. Put the unit into a diagnostic mode and see if any error codes come up. If there are no error codes then the control board would most likely be the issue. If there are error codes then test the component that the code refers to.

Sharon, With the unit beeping during the cycle but the unit still operating normally then there is a fault in the control board which would need to be replaced.

My washer will run through all of the cycles but will not high speed spin in normal operation. In diagnostics mode it will high speed spin and all of the tests function correctly. The only thing I get is E43 error code. I have cleared the code and tried again. It just keeps giving me E43. I have replaced both the motor control board and the front button control board and I am still getting the error code E43. I am about at my wits end ready to throw this thing off of the back porch since I have put almost $300 into it and it is still doing the same thing as when I started. Is it possible the new front control board I got is bad right out of the box or could their be something I am overlooking. Thank you

1 Answer

Dennis, The E43 error code is a main control board problem in which the manufacturer states to replace the main control board. The part number for the board is 137005000NH.

Hello Kelly. Based on the information you provided it sounds like a control board issue. Make sure the wiring harness is good first.

I've read posts with similar problems as mine, which is a error code E46, Control board problem. Within any cycle when it got to the spin cycle, in just sat there after the pump removed all the water and wouldn't spin. My only beef is that when I replaced the control board (Main control board) I continued to have the same exact problem. I also read that the door switch could be at fault so I checked that and discovered that it was bad. I checked all connections and am waiting for the door swich to come. I temporarily jumpered out the door latch contact that told the processor (Main control board) that the door was shut. It spun in the spin cycle but too slowly to get the water out of the clothes. After spending over 250 dollars on parts I'm wondering if I should just abandon the washer??? Any suggestions?

Hello Ron. You need to wait on the new door lock and see if it corrects the issue. The board will not full spin on one that is jumped out.

Tom, This issue sounds like there is a fault in the control board of the unit which is making the unit flash and beep. You should access the tech sheet and see if there are any stored error codes which would help with determining if the issue is the board or something else.
