Hello Randy. If full, it will not fill with water. You need to check the pump and see if it is bad or clogged in the filter.

Hello MC. The error is for high current. To make sure of whether it is the motor or the motor control You will want to do a resistance check between pins 4 and 5 in the motor. If the resistance is between 105 and 130 ohms then you will want to Disconnect the plug from the motor and measure the resistance of the windings. Pin 1 to 2, pin 1 to 3 and pin 2 to 3. All readings should be between 4 and 6 ohms. If the readings are correct then replace the speed control board. If the readings are incorrect then replace the motor. The board can be accessed from the front of the machine in order to get it out.

Bob, Based on the description, this issue sounds like it would be caused by a faulty control board. You will want to check to make sure that there are no clogs in the drain that could be causing the unit to not finish the cycle. You can also access the tech sheet on the unit and run a diagnostic which you can then see if there are any stored error codes.

Doug for Model Number ATF6000FS0

Washer is not performing spin cycle properly, diagnostic mode provided error code E47. States there is a potential problem with defective door lock assembly or defective control board. I do not have an ohms meter to test resistance today. While reading through some question presented by others, another gentleman was having the same problem and he was told to make sure the pump or the filter between the drum and the drain line were not plugged. How do I check the filter bewteen the drum and the drain line that goes to the pump?

1 Answer

Doug, The filter 137518800 is located inside the tub to pump hose 134455900 You'll need to disconnect the hose from the tub drain opening to check it . The E47 code does indicate an issue in the door lock assembly 131763256 and you'll need to check for 1500 ohms across the wax motor terminals. if all's OK you'll need to check for loose connections and wires then, replace the control board 134743500.

Dan for Model Number 41748102701

Hello, On any cycle, as soon as I push the start button, either of two things happen, either the spin indicator light immediately goes to "No Spin" and you hear a humming sound, possibly the drain pump. or the "Door Locked" indicator light goes on and the "No Spin" light goes on and then the humming from the drain pump. I do get the error code E45 but don't know which control board to replace? the 137005010 board or the pump motor control board 134743500? thank you for your help.

1 Answer

Hello Dan. Check the pump for clogs first and make sure the pressure switch is good. If so, replace the board 137005010 on the unit.
