James October 17, 2012 I have a Frigidare 27" wall oven (8 years old) that will not power on, no clock or any display on the panel. I have cycled the input breaker but no change. I can however hear a click when the main breaker is cycled on. Is this an indication that the control board is bad or is there possibly a fuse for the oven?
1 Answer Hello James. Test for power coming to the control board. If there is power there, and the control board does not work, you will need to order and replace the control board 316207527 in the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Doug April 09, 2012 for Model Number GLEF378ABF My oven or broiler will not come on. You can set the temperature and time and it says pre-heat for 3 seconds, then the pre-heat light goes out but the timer continues, still with no heating. I've been told I need to replace the control board. Does this sound correct? The stove top still works.
1 Answer Hello Doug, This sounds like a relay on the board 316207527 has failed. Be very careful when you change it as the overlay 316220805 is easily damaged when you try to remove it as it is put on with an extremely sticky substance. If you damage it you may have to order a new one. Read More...

Sue December 05, 2011 for Model Number FEF376ASE The new control board that I ordered looks different than the old one..Is this an upgraded board? If so, I need to know how to connect the wires. Thank you in advance.
1 Answer Hello Sue. Yes, the control board 316207527 has been upgraded, but it hooks up the same as the old control board. You will connect the molex connectors to the same location as on the old control board. Your bake and broil wires are labled on the new comtrol and the L1 wire is labled as well. You will hook the wires to the labled spade on the control board. There is a wiring diagram on the range if you need it for the install. Hope this helps. Read More...
