Bob, This set screw is for adjusting the temp but you will have to adjust it a little bit at a time to get it to the proper temp. You may not be able to adjust 10 to 12 degrees so it may be necessary to replace the temperature control.

Rose, You will want to pull the rear cover in the refrigerator compartment and check the frost pattern of the coils. If there is a little frost pattern, meaning the just a little on the coils where they come into the unit or through the first loop then the issue would be a sealed system issue. If the coils are impacted with ice then it would be a defrost issue. If the coils have a nice even pattern top to bottom then check to make sure that the fan is running.

Jim, It's unlikely you need a temperature control, since the compressor runs and is cooling. The condenser fan motor 5303918774 the compressor and the evaporator fan motor should all run and cycle off at the same time. First check and make sure there is no frost or ice build up on the back wall (a defrost problem) and you should be able to hear and feel the evaporator fan running and circulating the air inside the compartment.
