Ms. T. January 11, 2014 for Model Number 41742142100 My soap dispenser drawer pull all the way out and doesn't catch on the stop hook. Soap ends up on the floor. Gary K May 28, 2013 I have a front loading washer with the dispenser on the upper left hand side. When we start a load, we can hear the machine whirring but cannot hear or see water flowing into the machine. I've checked the water supply and there is adequate water. Just not flowing into the machine. What could be the issue?

1 Answer Joyce, A couple of things to check first. Remove the dispenser compartment cover 131272000 and check the drawer and the syphon tubes 131271910 for a fabric softner build up or clog in the tube, Then turn the cold water faucet off, remove the fill hose and check the filter screens in the end of the hose, and the inside of the cold water valve , and remove any debris or sediment that may have accumulated in the filter screens. The washer uses cold water to fill and dispense the bleach and fabric softner, if there's not enough cold water going into the washer, the dispenser won't dispense peoperly. 1 Answer Hi Jake. If the softener cover is damaged not supplying the siphoning action it is part # 131272000. The dispenser drawer is part # 131271910. Inspect them both for damage if they are interrupting the siphoning effect. You need to remove the top and watch to see if the dispenser motor and pointer are working. Kc December 28, 2011 for Model Number LTF1670DS0 I replaced part AP3220169 a few months ago because the bottom had become severely cracked and was allowing water to pour into the cabinet. Now it has cracked again. The machine is 7 years old and cleans well but will thump and even shake a bit during the spin cycle. Could there be something else, hitting the bottom if the detergent dispenser and causing the damage? Thank you.
1 Answer Hi KC. Remove the power. Remove the top. There are 2 center springs on the left and rt. that are hooked to the top of the frame. Are they intact ? Springs part # 134144700 . They are recommended to be replaced as a set. The bottom shocks are pinned at the top and at the bottom. Are they visibly leaking the grease out or dried up ? Part # 5304485917 ,2- per. pkg. Make sure all your legs are level from front to back and side to side. Make sure that the leg nuts are tight up against the base. 1 Answer Hello. You will need to remove the top off the machine. Next unhook all the hoses to the dispenser. Make a note of where they go for reinstall. Unplug the wires going to the valves on the dispenser. Next remove all the screws holding the dispenser in place. Reinstall in reverse order. Hope this helps. Read More...
