Sam October 10, 2011 for Model Number FWT449GFS1 Washer cycle but when it is on final spin,It does not spin.Is it motor or drain hose plug? Thank
1 Answer Hi Sam. Is the door lock light on at the control panel? If not then you will need to replace the latch assy. part # is []. If so then you will need to access the pump by removing power and removing the lower kick plate. Remove the intake hose (sump hose) and drain hose from the pump. You will need a shop vac to suck up all water. The pump impeller shouldn't be loose spinning on the pump shaft. If so the pump is part # 137108000. Thank you. Read More...

Pat August 28, 2011 for Model Number AP4359940 I brought a frigidaire washer 4 yrs. Ago and the drain pump went out after two yrs. I managed to use a strong glue to put the propeller back on inside the pump but it only lasted for about six months. I've done this twice and now I'm about to do it again. To buy another pump! My question,is this new pump going to be as the same pump I'm replacing or is it upgraded to work better?
1 Answer Hello Pat, it seems that the current pump offered by the manufacturer is a updated version from a previous pump. Without a model number we are unable to verify if your unit has the old version or newer version offered. Thanks! Read More...
Rick August 25, 2011 for Model Number Kenmore 417.43142200 Washer drain pump seems to be binding when removed from pump housing. Pump rotation is not smooth-appears to stop and resume motion. I assume the rotation of the pump motor should be smooth. Washer fails to pump water from tub during final spin cycle. Machine does not appear to be completing final spin and if it does clothes remain too damp. Is pump replacement the proper action?
1 Answer Rick, at this point, yes. You'll see the difference in the impeller rotation with the new part. Sounds like you've got something small lodged in the pump body or an impeller shaft gone bad. Thanks and Good Luck Read More...
