For Frigidaire Drain Pump Assembly (Part Number: OEM17071305)

Hello Chris, You need to first check for debris in the sump area and in the pump. The drain hose and screens have to be clear, otherwise, even if the pump is operating perfectly, the unit will not drain. Also, nothing can be in the sump that will interfere with the spinning of the pump impeller. If the pump is determined to be the issue, you will need to order part number A00126501.

Hello Jimmy. Check and make sure the water is filling the tub to the proper level. If so, then replace the main wash motor 154844301. If water is low, replace the water valve 154637401.

Mike, The purpose of the check ball is to divert water between the wash arms and has nothing to do with the drain. The most likely cause with the drain being clear would be that either the drain pump is not getting voltage to it or a bad drain pump.

Hello Ernie, This valve prevents drain water from re-entering the dishwasher from the drain. The only way this rubber flap is available is by purchasing the complete pump assembly.

Chris for Model Number Fridigidaire gallery gld2250rd dishwasher

Hi, My dishwasher will not completely drain at the end of the cycle. The pump is functioning ( already replaced ) and the pump runs for about a minute after the wash is complete, so I would think this should be enough time to empty the tub. I have checked the drain line as well, all is clear. is there another switch besides the main pump float that indicates the water level to control the drain or is it controlled by a timer? Thanks,

Hello Chris. no, you need to replace the hose on the unit it sounds like. If the pump works, it is the drain hose on the unit.

Anthony for Model Number FDB1100RHCO

My dishwasher seems to drain out slowly and in order to completely drain it I have to keep on hitting start/cancel a couple of times. I understand not all the water is suppose to drain out but there still an odor which makes me think that its not draining properly. I've checked where it connects to my garbage disposal and have cleaned that out. I can even watch it drain slowly into the disposal by looking down into the sink. The other important piece that I think could be related is that I have an extension on the drainage hose. It goes into my basement and then comes back up into my sink cabinet and into the disposal. Total length maybe 10 ft max, probably less. This is because the dishwasher was added on afterwards to the kitchen and has a cabinet or two in between the sink. I purchased a new pump thinking the pump maybe wearing out because of the distance to discharge? I also thought of just disconnecting the drainage hose from the disposal and hooking it to a basment drain so that gravity feeds it down. Any help is really appreciated. Thanks for your time and expertise. Anthony

Anthony, Normally the drain will carry 10 foot but since it runs down then back up to a trap then back to down it cannot handle this. It is possible that the drain may be clogged also which would cause it to be even slower. The drain should run straight across up to a trap then back to disposal.
