Brian April 16, 2016 If I put a rounded pan near hole in seal water comes out. If water is not bouncing off pan its fine. There's nothing wrong with seal just an altogether falty product which is sad.
1 Answer Hello Brain, If the leak has not been caused by oversoaping of the unit it most likely has a stopped up spray arm of a seal missing which would throw a "wave" in the water in the tub of the machine.. Read More...
Samantha April 07, 2016 for Model Number FGBD2545NF1A I just replaced the bottom door seal with part #AP5809675. I left the outside panel off so i could watch a cycle and during the wash cycle suds were coming out the gap in the seal and dripping down to the floor. I use cascade platinum dishwasher packets.
1 Answer Samantha, You may want to try to run the unit through a cycle with a little vegetable oil or vinegar and see if this corrects the issue with the unit. There may be soap build up that is causing excessive sudsing. Read More...

Ray February 07, 2016 for Model Number LGBD2432LW0B I purchased a bottom gasket and I watched the installation video several times. This seems to be an easy repair from the video but every time I push the gasket into the bottom of the door and the tub lip the gasket does not lock into place and just falls into the tub whenever I close the door. I don't know what I'm doing wrong but it's getting very frustrating. What am I doing wrong?
1 Answer Hello Ray, You will need to order 809006501 for the model number provided. You are most likely having difficulties because the part number you provided does not appear on the manufacturers' parts list and will not work properly on your unit. Read More...
Jerry W January 30, 2016 for Model Number WDT710PAYB6 This Whirlpool dishwasher doesn't have a bottom door seal nor a splash guard and it needs something because water runs out from the left center of the door. Most of the time on startup. Can you help?
1 Answer Jerry, You will want to check to make sure that the spray arms are not cracked or clogged. IF they are are then this could cause a wave action that could cause leaking in the unit. This unit does not have the center seal and these will be the most likely cause for the issue. Read More...
Zhenglu January 10, 2016 for Model Number Part Number: AP3959846 This bottom seal leaves about 1.5~2.0 mm gap on the right side. I took off the door cover, and observed the water squirt out of the gap. Occasionally, the gush spilled out. I tried to adjust task gasket to block the gap in vain. What else could I do?
Frank December 17, 2015 for Model Number FGBD2434PF0A My old bottom door seal did not have the notch cut in the center. The water would pass around the edges and fill the tray. The new bottom gasket with the notch allows the water to drain back into the dishwasher and appears to have fixed my problem. Is there another issue I should be looking for?
1 Answer Hello Frank. If the unit is leaking out of the bottom of the door, you will need to replace the bottom door seal. Read More...
Cade M December 16, 2015 for Model Number fghd2465nw1a I bought the replacement because my old gasket fell of and melted on the heating element and made a mess all over the floor. When i received the replacement it had the gap in it and every time i used it it would leak out. I cut the melted part off the old one with no gap and that works but i am afraid since part of it that locks into the door is gone it will fall out again. but the replacement with the gap is not working is there somewhere you can get it without the gap?
1 Answer Cade, The bottom door gasket is part number 809006501 but you may be needing the splash shield kit 154701001. Read More...
