Peggy April 19, 2017 for Model Number FFHS2322MWGA I need to know how to line up the yoke & auger when putting the ice container back in.
1 Answer Hello Peggy, If the yoke is turned one way, turn the auger so the tabs are in the opposite configuration. In other words, if the yoke is laid on the side with one yoke fork on the left and one on the right, turn the auger so the high points on it are at the top and bottom. Read More...
Darlene February 02, 2017 for Model Number FFHS2611LWF My ice maker makes ice sometimes and doesn't sometimes. I'm thinking I may need to replace the water inlet valve assembly. Thoughts? Also, my crusher is broken. The blades broke off awhile back. Can you direct me to what all parts I need to fix the ice crusher? Thanks, Darlene
1 Answer Hello Darlene. Make sure the freezer is between 0° and 5°. You need to check and see if there is power going to the water valve when the icemaker cycles. If so, replace the water valve on the unit. If not, or the icemaker does not cycle, you will need to replace the icemaker on the unit. Also, check and make sure the fill tube on the unit is not frozen and clogged. If so, replace the water valve and thaw out the fill tube. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html As for the ice container, you will need to order 241860803. David October 20, 2016 for Model Number ffhs2622mwg I am trying to find out what would cause the ice to get pushed in between the auger and the front plate cover. this has recently happened on mine and cracked the front plate. does the whole assembly need to be replaced or could it be something else.
1 Answer Hello David. It sounds like the cover may have cracked and allowed the ice to do that. Could have also been caused by ice chunks. It would be best to replace the assembly on the unit. Read More...

James March 30, 2016 for Model Number Frigidaire Part # 241734001 I am trying to troubleshoot the reason the auger is not pushing ice to the outlet. watching the auger work it seems move the ice into a pile. The metal bar is loose on the shaft and won't stay in the notch on the dispenser. I am guessing that is keeping the ice from entering the outlet. Is the metal bar supposed to be loose on the auger? Should the metal bar be tight on the auger and fit onto the plastic part? advise on repair please
1 Answer James, The metal piece that is on the auger should be tight and the hole may have widened allowing it to move. If this is the case it will cause the unit to not dispense the ice through the door. Read More...
