William October 22, 2018 for Model Number LGEF3045KFE my oven started overheating I check the sensor probe and it shows 1095 ohms then I unplug the plug going to control panel and check at that end of the plug going to the sensor and showed 1095 ohms dose sound like a bad control panel
1 Answer William, You need to make sure one of the relays are sticking closed on the control keeping your element energized 100 % of the time. Make sure neither element is grounded or shorted to ground. You can perform a voltage test at the element to see if the relay is faulty and then change your control. 5304495520 and overlay 316419821. William H October 22, 2018 for Model Number LGEF3045KFE My oven is over heating but I tested the sensor probe it showing 1095 ohms even when I disconnect it from the control board.
1 Answer William, Test the oven sensor with the oven set to 350 and make sure that the resistance is 1654 ohms. If this checks ok then the control board will be the issue with the unit. Read More...
Royce October 19, 2018 for Model Number LGEF3045KFH Everything on the range works but the oven won’t heat. I checked the element for continuity and the element is good. Does this mean the control board is bad.
1 Answer Hello Royce, Since this unit does not have a high limit cutout if there are no wiring issues the control 5304495520 will be the issue. Read More...
Deb July 18, 2018 for Model Number LGEF3045KFJ I have the code Sd or 5d on the display. It occurred after a bad storm. The clock can be set, the top elements work fine, but the oven will not come on. Googling tells me its the control board. IF so, what is the part number I need to order. Want to get it right the first time :)
1 Answer Deb, There is not an error code Sd so with this issue it would most likely be caused by a faulty control board which is part number 5304495520. Read More...
Chris December 13, 2017 for Model Number LGEF3045KFK Will the new oven control unit work if the overlay is not placed on it? I want to make sure the new oven control unit will fix the problem before I place the old overlay on it.
Matt April 24, 2017 for Model Number LGEF3045KFK Oven seems to be functioning properly, but the number 3 on the keypad will only beep but not register on the display. In other words I can't set the oven temperature to anything starting with a 3 or set the clock to a time with a 3 in it. It does beep when I press it, but if I wanted to set the temp to 325 degrees for example I would here a beep for each number pressed but only 25 would show on the display and it would still be waiting for a third digit to be inputted. Any idea what may be the issue? Thanks
1 Answer Matt, This issue would be caused by a faulty control board and will be part number 5304495520. Read More...
Jeffrey S February 13, 2017 for Model Number Frigidaire Gallery Range. Model # LGEF3045KFE My oven turns on but temperature will only go up to desired temperature. The control panel has been replaced before, but the range is now out of warranty. From watching video's on YouTube, it seems like the oven control panel is probably bad again. Of course, Frigidaire won't help/ Everything else works fine. However, oven will not heat up. Suggestions ??
1 Answer Hello Jeffrey. Make sure the temp sensor is good and if so, you will need to replace the control board on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...

Peter B. February 03, 2017 for Model Number Frigidaire Model LGEF3045KFG Ser. VF15051699 I had a F12 error message and replaced the EOC 12/1/2016. having the same error message now 2/3/2017. Tells me that I have to replace the EOC again. Getting expensive. Is something causing this or is it a bad new EOC that I installed 2 months ago? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Peter, As per the tech sheet, you are correct. F12 Disconnect power, wait 30 seconds and reapply power. F12. If fault returns upon power-up, replace EOC 5304495520. All we can determine is that there has been a failure. We are not able to determine a cause of the failure from here. We might not be able to determine the cause if we had the unit in our possession for examination/diagnosis. Read More...
