Mike May 25, 2014 for Model Number fghd2465nw1a My less than 2 year old dishwasher is leaking water from under the motor bracket supporting the pump motor. Could this be the front or rear O-rings going bad or is this a defect in the motor and or pump housing? Is this a do it yourself fix or is this for a Pro?
1 Answer Mike, This leaking issue would most likely be caused by a faulty rear seal on the pump. If the rear seal is not leaking then it would be a pump housing that would be cracked. To remove the pump you would just remove the support bracket and pull pump out. Just make sure that you have all the water out of the unit when you do this. Read More...
