Bill December 21, 2013 for Model Number Frigidaire fef366bcc Bake element burnt up pretty good. Replaced and doesn't work broiler eighter. Stove top works. Have 240 to l1&l2 on control board . When you turn on element you hear click and no voltage to elements on p2 or p3
1 Answer Bill, This issue would most likely be caused by a failed control board. The fact that you get 240 from L1 to L2 indicates that power is at the board but not going through the relay on the board. Read More...

Baher July 01, 2012 for Model Number Kenmore Stove Gas Range model 790 - 78618504 I am getting error code 90 on the clock screen, I tried so many times to rest the range and truned off and back on, press and holding the cancel and stop button to clear the issue but I was getting anthor error F11 while I am pressing and holding on stop button. Now when i turn on the stove I am getting unlock button blinking and beeping evething is working execpt the oven and self clean.
1 Answer Baher, The F11 code, is most likely due to you holding the two buttons down for too long a period " F11 Shorted Keypad (F11, 12 & 13) Disconnect power, wait 30 seconds and reapply power. If fault returns upon power-up, replace EOC." The F90 code would indicate an issue in the wiring, switches or door lock mechanism " F90 Maximum oven door unlock time exceeded Check the wiring between EOC & Lock Motor Micro Switch. Check for binding of the Latch Cam,Lock Motor Rod & Lock Motor Cam. Replace the Motor Door Latch assembly if necessary." 5304528973 Thanks and Good Luck Read More...
Mb March 05, 2012 for Model Number LEEFM389FEB Frigidaire elements oven blinks error code F31. Bake and Broil do not work. Stove top works as well as the clock. There is a strong electrical burning smell evident even when using only the cooktop. Can you help?
1 Answer Hello MB. Based on the error code and information you provided, it sounds like the control board 316418704 and overlay 316419700 are bad and will need to be replaced. Make sure the oven sensor is reading around 1080 ohms at room temperature. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Tom February 17, 2012 for Model Number lggf3042kfg how can I tell if the latch motors bad without a meter to check it?
1 Answer Tom, If you don't have a failure code in the clock display, you could apply 120 VAC to the motor terminals with a power test cord and observe the motor run. You never mentioned an issue, most of the time, the motor is not the problem, usually the issue is in the switch(s) or the latch linkage to the front. Thanks and Good Luck Read More...
Michael B. October 06, 2011 for Model Number 79092321301 Everything on the electric range works except the bake and broil elements. Just wondering if you could give me some suggestions? Thank you.
1 Answer Hi Michael. Check the relay power out from the clock part # is 316207511. It should give 120 vac to each element when asked. There should already be 120 vac to one side each of the element waiting for the relay to close for element heat. The senser is part # 316233903. It should ohm 1060 ohms cold not shorted or open. Bake element is part # 316202200. Broil Element is part # 316202200. They should read 11-32 ohms individually, not shorted either. Thank you. Read More...
Mickey June 28, 2011 for Model Number TEF351EWF The oven elements do not work on Broil or Bake. The oven lock LED light does not come on. Could it be lock motor. Thanks, Mickey
1 Answer Hello Mickey. You will need to check and see if the clock assembly is bad and will need to be replaced. Test and see if it is sending voltage to the bake and broil elements. If not, and there is power coming to the clock, you will need to replace the clock 5304511908. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Dave April 29, 2011 for Model Number FEF355ASD My oven locks up and will not work if you push the self clean button. The latch continuously cycles until you turn off the power and everything resets. Does the latch motor include some sort of sensor assembly that knows when the door is closed/locked? This sensor function appears to be broken.
1 Answer Hello Dave! With the information provided, you will need to replace the latch motor assembly 5304528973. Parts to assembly are not available separately. Thanks. Read More...
