Bryan March 23, 2024 for Model Number FGHD2433KF1 Recirc pump was not coming on at all during wash cycle. Replaced the 154844101 pump/motor and problem has continued, the pump/motor does not turn on at all. Checking the harnesses I have 120 VAC going to motor at all times unless door is opened. The bottom connector has +5 VDC from the middle pin to each of the side pins at all times. I would think that these voltages should change when the filling cycle ends and the wash cycle starts, but there's no change. I have no error codes showing on the panel, the dishwasher goes through its cycle and fills and drains, but never sprays.
1 Answer Bryan, if there is 120VAC at the white wire when the wires are disconnected from the motor, the voltage is being routed through the neutral wire instead of the live wire and would need to be corrected. In a case like this, it would also indicate a failure in the control 5304514670. Read More...
Travis July 05, 2023 for Model Number LGBD2431NF1B Dishwasher when starts clicks and lights flash. Checked element, thermal fuse, drain pump, and recirc pump continuity. Had continuity on everything except recirc pump motor. Part is 154844301 I ordered new but new one doesn’t have continuity on the two prongs on the motor either.
1 Answer Travis, the circulation pump 154844301 would be measured for resistance and it should measure about 240 Ohms (this higher resistance will cause a continuity failure). Dependent on the lights that are flashing, it is possible that the main control 807024501 or the door latch 5304525218 could be the cause of failure. The door latch can be tested for continuity and it should show continuity when in the door closed position. Read More...

Tina December 09, 2019 for Model Number kenmore 587.14143403 I'm trying to remove Motor Assembly, circulation 154474001. I have removed everything, but I cant get it to come out completely. Can you give me an idea of what I have missed?
1 Answer Tina, with the mounting bracket removed, the motor should be able to be removed. The seals may roll and make this more difficult, or debris may be stuck between the impeller and the circulation shield (sump assembly can be accessed under the lower wash arm to inspect for debris). Drew December 11, 2017 for Model Number PLD4375RFC0 Hi, thanks for helping me. The unit leaks about a cup of water every cycle. Water drips slowly and steadily from the front edge of the motor bracket. I ordered and replaced the front and rear o-rings, carefully soaping them up to help make sure that they got seated correctly. The unit is still leaking just as badly, so now I think I might need to replace the whole pump motor. Is it more likely that the pump motor needs to be replaced or that I didn't do such a good job on the o-ring replacement?
1 Answer Drew, The most likely issue will be that the entire pump motor will need to be replaced on this unit. Read More...
