Steve June 04, 2017 for Model Number Fridgidaire Dishwasher FDB4315LFC3 A leak developed from the motor area and could very well be just gaskets but I want to replace the motor assembly. The existing motor is part #15470001 but the suggested replacement is without the thick, black foam covering which surrounds most of the existing motor. This is probably to dampen noise. Is your suggested replacement motor available with this foam outer covering? Thank you
1 Answer Steve, We are not showing a covering that would go on the motor of this unit and may have been something added at a later time. The correct motor is 154844101. Read More...
Bill March 24, 2017 for Model Number fghd2433kf1 Unit is approximately three years old. began making a very loud noise when washing. Seems to be when water is being sprayed. I believe it is the water pump. Looked up part ap5272381, motor pump. do you think I have the problem diagnosed correctly and is this the right part?
1 Answer Bill, You will want to check to make sure that there is nothing caught in the tub and if there is not then you will want to clear the obstructions but if not then the motor would be the most likely issue. Read More...
Kris February 28, 2017 for Model Number LFBD2409LW0A What is the difference between motor 154844301 and 154844101?
1 Answer Kris, The model number you supplied calls for the 154844301 / 154794401(154844301) Motor Kit. To maintain the proper operation and dependability of the product, this is the wash motor / pump, you need to install in your dishwasher. Peter M February 12, 2017 for Model Number FDB4315LFBO Good afternoon, I have a Frigidaire dishwasher model and the dishes come out a little dirty after it's finished, the drain pump is loud but I don't see any water left over from the completed cycle, I clean the screen and the wands(s) periodically, Would the issue be the drain pump or the motor or both? Thanks Peter M
1 Answer Peter, The circulation motor would be the most likely cause if the dishes are still dirty and it making a loud noise. The unit is draining but the unit may not be circulating water properly. Read More...

Craig May 29, 2015 for Model Number FDB4315LFC1 Does the motor kit come with replacement o-rings or do they have to be ordered separately? My dishwasher has a continual loud droning noise during the wash cycle, so i'm assuming it is the motor bearings? Washer drains fine and appears to being doing a adequate job of cleaning although we do rinse everything before it goes in the washer.
1 Answer Hello Craig. The new motor kit will come with the O-rings and should solve your issue. Read More...
Mike April 21, 2015 for Model Number GLD4355RFB0 I turn my 8-year old dishwasher on, it fills up and then stops. It won't start cleaning and the lights in the other room go dim for a second. After a few minutes, it will start again and run through the whole cycle, but nothing was clean and the lights dimmed a few more times. No leaks. I've checked the power connection, pump, hoses, and innards for clogs and found nothing. I took the motor off and it's very hard to turn either end. A video I watched made it look like it should turn pretty easy, do I need a new motor? Thanks! -Mike
1 Answer Hello Mike. Test for power to the motor. If there is power there and the motor does not run, you will need to order and replace the motor on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
