  • Coordinates timing through relays and interfaces with safety/protection circuits

  • Disconnect power before servicing and verify no voltage is present
  • Use ESD precautions; handle the PCB by the edges and avoid flexing it

  • After installation, restore power and run the model's test/diagnostic or a cycle to confirm proper operation

Tommy, You will want to check the main power supply to ensure that you are not dropping voltage when the unit is running. The other cause for this issue would be a faulty display control board. The display board part number is 5304477181.

Larry, You will want to check the power supply coming into the unit where the power cord attaches to the control board. If there is power there then the control board would be the issue. If there is no power then the power cord would need to be replaced.

Hi.. I have a frigidaire Window A/C unit, 25K BTU that is only a few years old. I replaced the PC board as suggested here but it didn't solve the problem. The fan motor will start up and run for a while and then stop. Sometimes it will run for quite a few hours and then other times only an hour or so. The motor spins freely and I have noticed that sometimes it tries to run in reverse. If it doesn't start up when I press the ON button and just sits there and hums like its trying to start, I can spin the fan in the correct direction and it will start. Any other suggestions?

Hello Gil. Based on the information you provided, either the run capacitor for the fan motor or the fan motor is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit.
