Peetee January 21, 2012 for Model Number kenmore front loader model 417.44092500 I can't remove the electrical connection at the back of the drain pump. There is no clip to squeeze. I just seems to be locked in place. Any suggestions?? I bought the new drain pump and each electrical contact point has a hole in the middle. Not sure is that is what is used to lock the connection in place. Help please.
1 Answer Hello Peetee. You will just wiggle the connector and pull it out of the drain pump assembly 137221600. Hope this helps. Read More...

Peetee January 18, 2012 for Model Number kenmore front loading washer model 417.44092500 My drain pump assembly makes a loud buzzing noise when activated. The drain hose is clear and the impeller does not have anything around it. It drains fine but makes a loud buzzing noise. Before I replace the unit, is there anything else that I should check that could be causing this to happen?
1 Answer Peetee, Based on your post description, theres an internal failure in the drain motor itself. You should be fine once you replace the drain pump assembly 137221600. Good Luck and Thanks Read More...

Frank December 13, 2011 for Model Number LTF2140FSO Yes my washer was buzzing from the pump. Took the rubber boot off in front of the pump and found it was clogged with bra bands, coins, and what else. Also cleaned the around the pump fins. Ran good for a day. Took off again and no restrictions. It sounds like it is draining all the time. The pump is making the buzzing noise when washing like the pump is running all the time even when spinning. The pump is buzzing no matter what the washer is during. What is the problem I have nothing restricting the water flow? Drains real good . Just the pump is buzzing loud. Either it is trying to suck water that is not there or staying on when it not suppose 2 be on.
1 Answer Hello Frank. Remove the pressure hose from the pressure switch and blow through the hose making sure it is not clogged. If it is clogged, it can send a signal to the pressure switch and will run the pump thinking water is in the tub. If it is good, and the pump is good, you may need to replace the pressure switch 134844501. Hope this helps. Read More...

Wayne December 11, 2011 for Model Number CWS3600AS1 Washer is leaking water into the catch tub while running. Machine is also does not drain completely during the spin cycle and makes very odd noises and there is a "hot" "burnt" smell in the air. Unplugged the unit.
1 Answer Wayne, Check and make sure the drain hose is at least 38 inches up from the floor. If the "catch tub" is too low, the washer will syphon, during the cycle. Remove the front panel(two screws and two spring clips at the top) and check the drain hoses and drain pump for clogs 137221600 and the pump for operation. Good Luck and Thanks Read More...
Cory December 07, 2011 for Model Number GLTF2940ES0 I could not find the filter and it is not doing the final spin at all. If you run a quick wash it drains all the way but if you put clothes in it they are still very wet.
1 Answer Hello Cory. If the unit is draining properly, it sounds like the door lock assembly 131763256 is bad and needs to be replaced. If it does not show closed to the control board, the unit does not sip out. Hope this helps. Read More...
