Jeffry Sandi Villalobos August 24, 2018 for Model Number 134786100 Hello, I have a dryer model FASE7074LA0 that works normal and starts to heat but at 12-15 minutes it turns off, after it goes off pulse Start and Cancel for codes and "E F2" appears, could you help me indicating what that code means and also explaining how I can test the Humidity Sensor 134786100 P.S. I installed the new Heater Element because the old one was open. Another important fact is that no matter how many times the dryer is turned off, I turn it on again and it turns on normally but at 12-15 minutes it turns off making the sound of "end of cycle" I remain attentive to your valuable help!
1 Answer Jerry, This error is not a valid error but it would be recommended to check the venting of the dryer itself and check the venting to the outside of the home to make sure that it is not blocked. EF errors indicate this as a possibility. Also check the thermistors to ensure that they are good. One test for checking to see if venting is clean is disconnect the hose at the back of the dryer and run a load and see if the same symptoms occur or if they go away. if they remain it will likely be venting inside the unit and if it works normally the venting to the outside of the home would be the issue. Jim L. January 12, 2017 for Model Number EWMED70JSS2 Our Electrolux dryer heats and dries through the full cycle, but shuts off instead of going into the cool-down mode. At this shutdown, the display shows error code E64. Everything I've read about E64 doesn't seem to make sense, as the dryer still heats properly. We reboot (turning off the power) and the display clears and it will run the next load - until it stops again before going into cool down. Any ideas ?
1 Answer Jim, It is kind of strange for this error code to occur. The most likely cause for this will be a faulty main control board on the unit since the unit does heat. Read More...
Shawna November 15, 2016 Fridgidair dryer sensor bar came off in load of laundry. Replacement bar has arrived, but I don't know which wire connects to which prong on the sensor as it was disconnected when I discovered it. Does it matter or is it just completing a circuit?
1 Answer Shawna, It will not matter which wire goes to which terminal on the sensor bar. Read More...
Dick June 07, 2016 for Model Number electrolux dryer (electric) 1347959? E61 short start then shuts down...is it the moisture sensor
1 Answer Dick, No, It's not likely going to be the moisture sensor. If you have the E61 Error code this would indicate a "Heater relay failure" Check for short circuit across heater relay(s) L1 applied to heater relay output(s) with cycle stopped. Check for open circuit between L1 and heater relay connection(s) . If no wiring problems are found, replace the Main Control Board." If we had a proper model number, we could be more precise and accurate and advise you more efficiently. Thanks Read More...
Doug January 26, 2016 for Model Number EWMED70JIW0 I am receiving an error message that states, "Large Surface Moisture Sensor" is not working and the dryer is not currently drying. I am attempting to confirm that the correct replacement part for our Gas Electrolux Dryer is: Sensor-Moisture Part Number: AP4368860 Made by: Frigidaire If this is incorrect, would you be so kind as to send the correct replacement part number?
1 Answer Doug, Yes, with the error being the moisture sensor bar the correct part number is 134786100. You will want to check the wiring between the board and sensor to make sure that it is good also. Read More...
David E. November 29, 2015 for Model Number EIED55HIWO Is there any type of cleaning that needs to be done to the moisture sensor? I see some strings hanging out of the bottom of the mounting plate and was wondering if I should remove them or leave them alone?
1 Answer Hello David, There should be no problem with carefully removing the strings. You just want to make sure the sensor bars do not get bent up so they will catch in the load. Read More...

Capri August 08, 2015 for Model Number ewmed70jss Our moisture sensor broke off the right side of it, got snagged on clothes like everyone else said, but the wires behind it appear broken too. Does the sensor part come with the wires or do we need to acquire those separate?
1 Answer Capri, For the wires that go to the sensor, you would need to get the wire harness part number 134930800. Read More...
Jennifer June 30, 2015 for Model Number FASE7073LWD Our Moisture Sensing bar has broken off because clothing (spaghetti straps) got stuck in it. We are ordering a new Sensing Bar. Can we install it ourselves or should we hire a professional? One side has a screw (this side did not break off) and the other side does not. It appears we need to attach wires again. Also, what will hold this other side down since there isn't a screw? Are we supposed to glue it? Im not sure how that end stays in place. Thanks for your help!
1 Answer Jennifer, Yes you can install this part on your own without the help of a service technician. As for how to install it, remove the screw and lift up from that side. On the other side there is a tab that slides into a slot, the new one will slide into the slot and then rotate to where it will screw into place. Read More...
Lydell February 04, 2015 for Model Number eimed55iiwo Our Large Surface Moisture Sensor also came off about 4 months ago. I have been drying on Timed Dry only since then. The dryer recently began giving an E 64 error code. Would the error code have anything to do with the broken sensor? I am ordering a new sensor, but just wanted to know if I should call a tech too. Thanks.
1 Answer Lydell, The E64 error code is a heater open circuit error. Heating element or a wire in the circuit is damaged. Check the heater coils and connections for open circuits and replace heater and/or wiring and retest. Read More...
