Rod March 19, 2016 for Model Number GLTF2940ES3 I have the frigidaire gallery series front loader washer. It will not go to high spin. The door lock mechanism appears to work fine, as the door lock light illuminates when start button is pushed. I filled the washer in normal wash cycle and then drained. The washer drained properly within 10-15 sec. The drain pump was replaced last month (Feb). I ran it through the entire drain/spin cycle and still no high spin. I tighten the door striker and still no high speed spin. What I did notice at the end of the drain/spin cycle (at the 2 minute point) was the time did not change from 2 minutes to 1 minute. The estimated time display stayed at 2 minutes. Is there a quick and easy fix to my dilemma?
1 Answer Rod, You will want to put the unit into a diagnostic cycle per the tech sheet and see if there are any error codes stored which will lead to the issue. Also the door lock may lock but could still be faulty. If the door switch inside is not made it will not allow the unit to spin. There is a good possibility of this to be the issue. Read More...

Gail February 10, 2016 for Model Number Frigidaire affinity front load washer The striker broke off inside the locking slot. How do I get it out? We replaced the broken striker, and closed the door and the new striker broke because it hit the broken off part.
