Ben S. January 18, 2022 for Model Number GHDT168V60SS First off, I continue to be impressed by your site - I've replaced ~20 parts with your help since becoming a home owner, thank you. My detergent dispenser doesn't open about 33% of the time (i.e. the soap is still locked inside after the cycle finishes). I successfully replaced the Detergent and rinse aid dispenser but the issue remains. Do I need to replace the control board? If so I don't see a control board listed for GHDT168V60SS - how do I order that part? Any other things I can try?
1 Answer Hello Ben, If there are no connections issues between the control and the dispenser, the control WD21X10505 would be the most likely cause. Read More...
Es_55414 November 25, 2021 I did the replacement but now water leaks around the new dispenser. The model number fits. What do you think the problem is? I made sure to tightly screw the dispenser. Thanks.
1 Answer Es_55414, We will need to have the model number of your dishwasher to be able to assist properly with your question. Read More...
1 Answer Linda, the rinse aid and detergent dispenser WD12X32798 is going to be located on the center of the inner panel and it would be accessed for replacement by removing the front panel of the dishwasher door. Read More...
John February 14, 2021 for Model Number GLDL560N10SS My rinse aid dispenser seems to leak rinse aid intermittently, not 24/7, after the rinse only cycle, with suds everywhere at the bottom of the tub. It seems to be resolved temporarily by running a different cycle like Normal Wash or Pots & Pans. Can this issue be resolved by replacing the dispenser unit, or could it be something else like a control board? Thank you.
1 Answer John, Based on the information provided it sound as if the dispenser would be the issue. Read More...
Robert March 14, 2020 for Model Number ZBD6880NSS I have a different GE model (ZBD6880NSS) with an integrated stainless steel door that doesn't appear to me to come off in the same way as your video. I'm reluctant to start taking it apart only to find that I can't get it back together. Do you have instructions for this model?
1 Answer Robert, with the dishwasher unplugged, the outer door panel would be removed by opening it and removing the screws around the perimeter of the inner panel that are going into both the inner and outer panel. It would be recommended that something is used to prevent the outer panel from dropping down once the screws are removed. Once the screws are removed, it would be easiest to disconnect all wires on the outer panel so that it may be moved out of the way. Read More...
Mj October 21, 2019 for Model Number PDW7800G00WW The dish detergent dispenser is no longer opening during a cycle. I see that you sell the replacement dispenser AP3767572, but is there a way to first test to be sure the dispenser is the problem and not the control board? Thank you!!
1 Answer MJ, You would need to remove the door panel and test to see if there is voltage getting to the dispenser at the time that it calls for the dispenser to open. In most cases, this will be a faulty dispenser. Read More...
Laura November 30, 2018 for Model Number PDW7880N20SS My rinse aid is dripping out from in-between the dispenser assembly and the dishwasher door. Is there a gasket included with the dispenser and do I need to order the Bracket Rinse Module as well? That wasn't shown in the video.
1 Answer Laura, For this issue you would want to replace the detergent and rinse aid dispenser. Read More...

Bill March 11, 2018 for Model Number PWD7700 Rinse agent dispenser. When I try to fill rinse agent into dispenser, the rinse agent does not flow into the fill tank. How Can I make the agent flow into the fill tank?
1 Answer Bill, When you take off the rinse aid cap you should be able to just pour the rinse aid into the dispenser. If it will not flow in then it sounds like it may be clogged and you could remove the dispenser and flush it out with hot water. If this does not correct then this will most likely be a issue with the dispenser assembly and would need replaced. Read More...
John M February 23, 2018 for Model Number GDWT160R30SS My GE dishwasher recently began to leak just a very small amount of a sticky substance on the floor right under the door. Thoughts?
1 Answer John, You will want to check to see if the sticky substance is rinse aid that is leaking from the reservoir and need to replace the reservoir. Read More...
