Questions & Answers

For Ge Drive Belt (Part Number: OEM11652393)

Hello Chesey. Replacement belts on all front load washers appear to be too small and can be a bit difficult to install, but this is "Normal". "Per Factory Measures 48.4" At Rest & 51.2" When Working". As you can see there is some "stretch" in the belt when the washer is operating. The way to get the belt on is to put it on the motor pulley first. Once you have it on the motor pulley then you will start it around the tub pulley and making sure that you hold it, spin the tub pulley away from where the belt is on the pulley as to turn it on and it will go on but you have to hold it as you do this.

Hello Gary, This sounds like the spinner support or the spin bearing is bad on your unit. To check, open the door and push upwards on the inner tub. Turn it a bit and try it again. Turn it again and try it again. If you try it in 1/3 turn increments and find one spot with excessive movement, the spinner support is damaged. If it feels rough when you are turning the inner basket, the bearing has failed. If the first is true, you will need to replace the rear outer tub assembly WH45X10071 and the spin basket assembly WH45X10142. If the second is true, you will only need to replace the rear outer tub assembly.

Eman, The filter on the washer would be in the drain pump at the bottom of the washer. As far as the noise that you are experiencing, if the noise is a roaring type noise then the issue would be bad bearing in the rear tub WH45X10071.

Stephon, It sounds like you may require both inner and out tubs on your washer. It sounds as though the spinner support may have broken which is on the inner tub. If this has occurred then it most likely has damaged the bearings of the outer tub and damaged the front tub as well.
