Sophia, Microwaves that don't heat and have a loud hum noise usually indicates and issue in the high side components, and usually a faulty diode WB27X35382 or magnetron WB27X10927. Gary, There are a couple of fuses on unit. There is a 20 amp 250 v fuse that is behind the control panel that you could test to see if it is bad. There are also thermal cutoff fuses inside the unit. To access the 20 amp fuse you will remove the grill and take screw out at top of control panel and take off the control panel. The other fuses would require the unit to be pulled from installation and take the cabinet off to test for continuity on the fuses to make sure that they are good. If there is no continuity then replace the fuse.
