Mark November 07, 2012 for Model Number CSX22GRXAAA (Hotpoint) Sometimes when I push the ice/water dispenser the flow will not shut off. I have to slide the select lever to a mid position to get it to stop then after a while it works again. Any ideas???
1 Answer Hello Mark. Check and see if the micro-switches inside the dispenser are sticking. If not, you may need to replace the dispenser control board WR55X130. Read More...
1 Answer Hello Patrick, To access the ice door assembly you will need to remove the control board on dispenser. To do this you will first check to see if there is a screw underneath holding it in place. If no screw then pull on the bottom of the control board and it will pop free. Behind the control board there are 4 screws that you have to remove. once removed then you can pull the ice dispenser assembly out and access door. Read More...
Jamie May 20, 2012 The front of the ice maker is frosting over and I believe it is due to air getting in from the front control panel on the door. At this point, I'm guessing it is the flapper that is not closing when the door is closed causing it to frost. If this would be the problem do you know what it would cost to repair? Thanks!
1 Answer Hello Jamie. If that is the issue with the unit, you will need to order and replace the solenoid WR62X10055 on the unit. Read More...

1 Answer Hi Tom. You will need to remove the front display of the dispenser. It unsnapps out of the dispenser. Once removed, you can access the screws holding the dispenser housing in place. Remove the dispenser housing to change out the ice door assembly. Part # WR17X11653. Thank You. Read More...
Jwoz January 10, 2012 for Model Number GSS25KGSC WW There is a lot of condensation build up on outside of the ice door flapper. This causes a mildew build up on the dispenser assembly. I replaced the solenoid and the rubber gasket for the ice door flapper. Any solution to eliminate or at least minimize the external condensation? Thanks.
1 Answer Hello Jwoz. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the ice door is not closing all the way on the unit. If so, you will need to replace the ice door kit WR17X11653. Hope this helps. Read More...

Tim June 07, 2011 for Model Number Psc23ngn Once I looked at the picture of the front panel part on the web site I could see that it had two plastic posts at the bottom and a plastic rail at the top. Nothing holding it on the sides. I also saw a center bottom set screw. The two posts and set screw can be located from below. My refit set screw was missing. I then was able to lift up hard on the whole front panel to clear the two posts at the bottom and the bottom swung freely forward. Then the top was freed by pulling forward and a bit down. Then I could see the four corner screws to remove. After replacing the flapper, I installed in reverse order. If you just pry it forward you will brake the pins at the bottom of the platic rail at the top.
1 Answer Hello Tim. Great information for future customers with this model number! Thank you! Read More...
