Larry C March 05, 2015 for Model Number JP356SOM1SS GE Cooktop The glass top seams to be lifting away from the cooktop there is a gap between the bottom of the glass and the counter top. I checked the 2 hold down brackets and they are secure..
1 Answer Larry, If there is a space all the way around then the gasket that they put under the cooktop may be deteriorating or if they put a silicone around it then this may be shrinking and deteriorating. Read More...
C.J. February 10, 2015 for Model Number JB968TH4WW The convection fan is not blowing. I set the oven to convection 375°F and it will reach temperature without the fan. If I switch the oven to bake the temperature 375°F, after reaching temperature on convection, the oven does not hold the temperature. What's the best way to test fan, door switch and possibly the controller.
1 Answer Hello C.J., Since the difference between the two circuits are the control and the convection fan, either the relay on the control has failed or the convection heater has failed. The convection element should read about 23O of resistance. If it reads out of tolerance, replace the element WB44T10053. If it reads within 10% of 23O, replace the control WB27T10484. Read More...

Mikky May 20, 2014 for Model Number 911-99002990 Kenmore elite The bridge burner switch went out. Got the new one from GE old #WB24T10015 New#WB24T10063 numbers and letters don't match. How do I write the old switch to the new. The bridge burner wires are yellow
1 Answer Hello Mikky. Unfortunately we are unable to get most of Kenmores wiring diagrams. The switch should have the same markings as the old switch. You will match them up. Example is L1 on the old switch goes to L1 on the new switch. You can use the wiring diagram n the back guard of the unit to help you repair it also. Read More...
Lobo March 19, 2014 for Model Number JBP95BOF1BB I own this JBP95B0F1BB convection oven and the left front burner will stay on high (full blast) no matter where I position the controller. The bridge burner is is suppose to regulate as an option also stays on high only as well (when selected). This is the controller than allows the bridge burner + front burner to be regulated on the left side of the controller (knob) (from low to high) and the front burner only to be regulated on the right side of the controller (knob) from high to low. What part number do I need please? WB24T10119?
1 Answer Lobo, The part that you would need for the dual infinite control switch is part number WB24T10063 Read More...
Larry January 27, 2014 for Model Number JP930BC1BB The Right Front dual element burner needs a replacement infinite switch. Which of the replacement "19" parts do I need?
Tom January 24, 2014 for Model Number JB960KD1CC My burner on the back right isn't heating up. i replaced the element as i could see a break in the coil. The replacement unit doesn't heat either. in fact, I got a 2nd element, and it doesn't heat either. When i look at diagrams for the infinite control, i see numbers WB24T1009 and WB24T10012, both identified as #19. Should i next replace the controller? thanks,
1 Answer Tom, Yes the infinite control switch WB24T10012 will be the next logical step. You probably checked for any loose or broken wires when you replaced the element, that would leave the infinite switch circuits as the culprit. Based on the parts information, the right rear burner element is a 6" 1,500 watt element and should require the WB24T10012 Infinite Control Switch Read More...
