The Infinite Control Switch is an OEM part for GE ranges and cooktops. This switch regulates the heat levels of the burners, allowing users to adjust the cooking temperature to their desired setting. It ensures that each burner provides consistent and controllable heat for precise cooking.

Causes of a bad infinite control switch can include regular wear and tear, electrical surges, or damage from spills and splashes. Over time, these factors can lead to the switch malfunctioning, which may result in poor temperature control or complete failure of the burner.

Symptoms of a bad infinite control switch include:

  • The burner not heating up or heating inconsistently
  • The burner staying on high heat regardless of the setting
  • Difficulty adjusting the burner temperature
  • The switch feeling loose or unresponsive

This GE replacement part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.

Hello C.J., Since the difference between the two circuits are the control and the convection fan, either the relay on the control has failed or the convection heater has failed. The convection element should read about 23O of resistance. If it reads out of tolerance, replace the element WB44T10053. If it reads within 10% of 23O, replace the control WB27T10484.

Hello Mikky. Unfortunately we are unable to get most of Kenmores wiring diagrams. The switch should have the same markings as the old switch. You will match them up. Example is L1 on the old switch goes to L1 on the new switch. You can use the wiring diagram n the back guard of the unit to help you repair it also.

Lobo for Model Number JBP95BOF1BB

I own this JBP95B0F1BB convection oven and the left front burner will stay on high (full blast) no matter where I position the controller. The bridge burner is is suppose to regulate as an option also stays on high only as well (when selected). This is the controller than allows the bridge burner + front burner to be regulated on the left side of the controller (knob) (from low to high) and the front burner only to be regulated on the right side of the controller (knob) from high to low. What part number do I need please? WB24T10119?

Tom, Yes the infinite control switch WB24T10012 will be the next logical step. You probably checked for any loose or broken wires when you replaced the element, that would leave the infinite switch circuits as the culprit. Based on the parts information, the right rear burner element is a 6" 1,500 watt element and should require the WB24T10012 Infinite Control Switch
