Bob January 25, 2022 for Model Number GTW680BSJ4WS I ordered a WX5X1325 and it does NOT fit this. This wrench is not 1.25 inches. (Unless I got sent the wrong one). Can you please double check the correct part for me so I can make sure I am ordering the right one?
Kevin April 21, 2020 for Model Number GTW680BSJ6WS What spanner wrench do I need to remove hub nut AP5793681? I tried a TBA123A (WX5X1325), but it was too big. The nut looks to be about 1-1/4".
Kimberly January 24, 2020 for Model Number GE WSERE526F0WW My washing machine was rumbling very loud during the spin cycle. This went on for a few weeks. I found your site and video on how to disassemble the machine but had to wait for someone to help me with the heavy parts. We used your video today to take it apart. The only damaged part we see is the "Seal Tub" Part #AP5645738. The rubber areas are smashed and mostly gone & the rest of it is rusted out so we know we need that part. Would the "Seal Tub" Part #AP5645738 be causing that much rumbling and noise?? Since your video is so detailed we decided to take the rest of the machine apart to check the Tub Bearing Part #AP2045289. It seems to be in perfect shape. It isn't rusted or bent or anything missing on it. What would it look like if it was damaged?
1 Answer Kimberly, "Would the "Seal Tub" Part #AP5645738 be causing that much rumbling and noise??" No, the seal would not produce a rumbling noise. The noise would be from the tub bearing. We would recommend you "clean" everything up as best possible and replace the following parts: WH2X1198 tub bearing, WH02X10383 tub seal, WH02X10265 tub bearing split ring, WH2X1197 tub bearing washer, WH2X1199 hub washer, WH2X1193 hub nut, to ensure a proper, quiet and long-lasting repair and operation of the washer. Joe July 16, 2019 for Model Number GTW680BSJ4WS Hello, I need to know which model of wrench will remove the tub nut on my washer. The tub nut's part number is WH02X10363, for GE washer GTW680BSJ4WS. I purchased what I believed to be the correct spanner wrench, but it appears to be about a half inch too large to fit the nut. Thank you!
1 Answer Joe, The part number for the spanner wrench that should work on your unit will be WX5X1325. Read More...
