1 Answer JC, You will need to pull the unit out and remove the back panel in order to access the wires to reconnect them. If you go ahead and install the element and then just plug the wires in when you get the unit pulled out. Read More...
Jaynie December 13, 2016 for Model Number Jbp64boh3wh I need the bottom range element. But can't seem to find the correct part number. Can you please tell me what part number I need please? It's a GE range. Also, is it possible for these to just randomly break? Our renters claim the element just broke, we have never hear of such. The whole left side about a 6 inch piece is broke off.
1 Answer Jaynie, The oven bake element for your unit is part number WB44T10010. As for the element breaking, it is not uncommon to see this type of thing happen. In most cases it can occur with spill overs that may have occurred but could have also just had weak spots on the element. Read More...
Joe December 11, 2016 for Model Number JBP240R3WH Our GE oven element caught fire and broke. Want to replace the element. Our oven's model # doesn't show up (the appliance is 23 years old). The Serial # is AH223487G. Noticed that the screws are on either side of the element as opposed to above the element. Which element should we order?
Barney M. December 10, 2016 for Model Number jbp24bub101 My model number is hard to see but I think this it . All I am not sure of is the 101 at the end. I am sure that part number ap2030996 is it. It looks the same shape and the ends go up the same were the wires go. It said it will not fit my range. It may be that my model number is not right. I am sure it's the right one.
1 Answer Hello Barney, The model number you provided is not valid but if you put in jbp24b, there are 19 models that are possible matches. I have looked at these and they all use the WB44T10010 except the last four on the list so there is a good cvhance it will fit. Since we do not have the exact model number, we cannot guarantee this is the correct bake element or that it will fit or operate correctly when installed. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. Read More...
