Questions & Answers

For Ge Oven Bake Element (Part Number: OEM6093261)

1 Answer

Vicky, You will want to check to make sure that there is 240 vac coming to the elements. To test this you would check on the control board from L2 to chassis ground and then disconnect the yellow wire from the bake and test from the terminal on the control board to chassis ground for 120 vac with the bake turned on. Also check the broil which is the red wire the same way. If you are missing 120 vac on either terminal on the board with it set to bake or the broil then this will be a faulty control board.
