For Ge Water Line Sleeve (Part Number: OEM6181788)

Dave, If the water is spraying out without going into the cup then this will most likely be a issue with the water tube in the door. As for the dispenser paddle being pulled out then this will be a issue with the dispenser housing that may be the issue. WR17X11170.

The condenser in the back is running really hot, and the left side of the fridge when looking from the front is also hot as is the center divider that you can feel when the doors are open. The fridge was running almost constantly for a while. Now I've cleaned the round thing that the fan is connected to and it's much better but it still gets a little hot on the left side of the fridge in two places, one high one low. My question is if this is normal to get warm at these places when the fridge runs? And does the condenser often get pretty hot during the running time. Like I said before I cleaned that round part it was hot and running almost constantly. Thanks a lot for any help, I'm trying my best. Kent

Kent, With the condenser and the sides of the refrigerator and the center divider running hot you will want to check to make sure that the condenser fan motor is running. If the fan is not running it can cause the compressor to overheat and cause the walls and divider to get hot. This can also cause the unit compressor to overheat and shut down. If this checks ok then it sounds like you may have a sealed system issue in which you will need to have a service technician to check the unit.

Hello Jorge, Sounds like you need to adjust your temperatures. The controls only give a general idea of where to set them. I recommend setting the temperatures using a freezer thermometer. Set it in the freezer compartment and don't check on it until first thing in the morning after it's been closed all night. You should have the thermometer setting in a position where you can read it without touching it. If the freezer drops below 0°F, set the control to a warmer setting. Be aware that refrigeration is a slow process. If you make more than one setting adjustment within a 24 period, you are essentially lost and will not be able to predict what average temperature the unit will run at. It takes about three to zero the temperature in and then you can move the thermometer to the fresh food side. The temperature in the fresh food side should be adjusted to 35°F to 38°F. This takes about three days also to zero in. Then move the thermometer back to the freezer side and make sure the next morning that the fresh food adjustments have not changed the freezer temperatures to below zero. There is also the possibility that there is a void in the insulation in the freezer door. Let's hope this isn't the case as it would require the replacement of the door. This is rather costly so adjust your temperatures first. Let us know if we can assist further.

Hello Randy. The water line in the door is frozen and will need to be thawed out. If you unplug the unit and leave the freezer door open for about 6 to 8 hours, it will thaw out. Hope this helps.
