Gretchen September 01, 2015 for Model Number LG WM2277HW I just purchased a new drain pump from you and just replaced it. Tried doing a load of clothes and I got the OE error message again. I followed'your video and had zero problems. Any ideas as to what the problem would be?
1 Answer Hello Gretchen. You will need to check and see if the unit is draining. If not, then check the wiring to the pump. If the wiring is good, then look at replacing the board on the unit since it provides the power for the pump. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...

Beth August 15, 2015 for Model Number 110-925-7821 I have an older model Sears/Kenmore washer top loader. Washer is agitating well, all cycles seem fine, but it just stopped at the end of the rinse cycle as it got ready to empty before spin with a full tub of water. First thought, clogged drain. Second, pump. Can't seem to cross-reference parts for anything but hate to give up on a working machine because I can't empty it if it can be fixed. What do you suggest?
1 Answer Beth, With the unit stopping and not doing anything, the first thing to check will be the lid switch. If the lid switch has failed the unit will no longer agitate or spin and drain. You will want to test the lid switch for continuity with the lid closed. If there is no continuity then the switch is bad. You will want to check the drain pump which is part number WP3363394 the lid switch part number is 285671. Read More...
Dani August 05, 2015 for Model Number LG Washer WM2250C I ordered and replaced the drain pump and pump assembly on by washer. When I tested it it began to leak where the pump is screwed in to the assembly. I've taken it apart and put it back together trying for a better seal to no avail. Am I missing something? Why would it continue to leak there? Both parts are brand new. It is put together exactly like the old one was.
1 Answer Hello Dani. You need to check and see if the o-ring on the pump may be bad or defective. Read More...
