I have drained the water and cleaned the filter and thought that helped, it seems to be ok for a bit then it gets hung again with error message OE. Rob January 04, 2014 for Model Number 79640512900 My Kenmore le quit pumping water. I have removed pump but am not sure if that is the problem. Impeller turns but with resistance, as in you can spin it by hand but after 1/2 revolution freely then it slows. Cant afford to replace parts that are not bad. Any suggestions?
1 Answer Rob, The most likely cause would be a bad drain pump motor. When you spin the impeller is should not spin real free. It should spin then kinda bounce as it is a magnetic drive motor. If the pump impeller is spinning freely then this would be the cause of failure. Read More...
