Norman January 23, 2021 for Model Number WM8000HVA S/N 209KWEL33956 All steps went well until releasing the pump skid. It seems to have a metal plate on which the pump is mounted and I can't find the hidden release button. What might I be missing here?
1 Answer Hello Norman, If you look at the first picture of 4681EA2001T on our site, the release is located just above the left top corner of the white motor cover. Pressing on it while turning the pump will allow the pumps' rotation for removal. Read More...

Lanse December 17, 2020 for Model Number Kenmore He4t 11045091400 RE: Drain motor electric double blade connector. FYI, the new pump came in (promptly, thank you) with 2 separate blade connections approximately 1" apart, whereas my old washer has both blade connections in 1 side by side connector.... so when I disconnect the old connector, does it matter which black feed wire goes to which blade on the new drain motor?
1 Answer Hello Lanse, It does not matter which wire goes to which terminal on an ac electric motor. It will still operate the same and spin in the same direction. You will need to order 280187 for your model and not the one you were viewing. Read More...

Goliwagmo September 03, 2020 for Model Number WM2101HW VIDEO Addendum : Just a comment on the GREAT video (since the "Comment on this Video" didn't appear to be working: On my LG washer, the front control panel has 3 screws, not 2. The third screw is located at the rear of the top right corner. Can't thank you enough for these videos. They've allowed me to service a number of my appliances through the years and saved me big $$$$$.
Karen E. July 19, 2020 for Model Number 796.40272800 Can I fix the spinning cycle of my washing machine with this drain pump? Seems the draining process also affects spinning. Also, is this part recommended?
1 Answer Karen, If the unit is pumping the water out properly you would not need to replace the pump. Check the pressure hose to make sure that it is not clogged with debris. Also, check the pressure switch to make sure that the pressure switch is resetting to empty as this has to happen in order for the unit to spin. Read More...
Jennifer C. July 19, 2020 for Model Number 796.40021900 Water is not draining off fast enough during the spinning cycle of my washer, and this is making it turn out soaked clothes. Can I fix the draining issue with this part?
1 Answer Jennifer, If the pump is moving water, check to make sure that the pump is not clogged. If it is not and is getting 120 vac then the pump would need to be replaced. Read More...
Jim July 13, 2020 for Model Number WM2077CW I watched your tutorial on how to replace the drain pump on a LG front load washing machine. The how to information was very very helpful. The video made the job so much easier. I noticed on the video the black wire to the pump was on the L post and the brown on the N post. I marked the pump housing with the wire color location before I took them off and noticed the wires are reversed with the black on the N and the brown on the L. This is the original pump. Has there been a change for the wire hook up? Should I place the black on the L and brown on the N? Thanks Jim
Peter May 23, 2020 for Model Number LG wm3001hra Message on washer says to clean the filter and draining tube which I did but when run machine again, it has the same problem. Is it the drain pump motor problem? Please reply
1 Answer Peter, If the unit is not draining then you will want to check to make sure that the pump is getting power to it. If it does have power then the pump will be the issue. If there is no power and not draining then the control board will be the issue. If the unit is draining but getting the error then the pressure switch will be the most likely cause. Read More...
