The Washer Gasket is an OEM replacement part for LG washing machines. It is a flexible seal that lines the opening of the washer tub, creating an airtight barrier to prevent water leaks and ensure proper containment during the wash and spin cycles.

Symptoms of a bad washer gasket include:

  • Water leaking from the front of the washing machine
  • Excessive moisture or condensation buildup around the gasket area
  • Difficulty in properly closing and latching the washer door due to a worn or damaged gasket

Causes of a washer gasket failure can range from general wear and tear over time, to physical damage from being pinched or cracked, to improper installation or alignment issues.

This OEM LG part is also compatible with Sears/Kenmore models.

Last thing could be something has worked its way to the drain motor and in spin, the drain pumps out and could be hitting something but with your leak issue im leaning toward the rear bearings and seal.

Hello Jesse, I'm sorry but we will need to ask you to post a new question including the model number from your units' I.D. tag so we can look up the configuration. This will allow us to see if your unit has a drain in the bottom of the door boot or not, since this varies from model to model. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.

Albert, It would be most likely the main control board that is causing the unit to not operate.
