Ed January 06, 2016 for Model Number LSC26905TT Hi, I have a LG Refrigerator LSC26905TT, the ice and water dispenser just stopped working. When you push the lever you don't get any ice or water. Just looking for a little help on what could be the problem.
1 Answer Hello Ed. It sounds like the switch in the dispenser has failed. If so, you will need to replace the funnel assembly 3017JA2004M. Read More...

Bobbie November 23, 2015 for Model Number lmx25984sb We pushed the button to dispence ice and it will not stop. What would cause this?
1 Answer Hello Bobbie. You will need to check and see if the lever is broke and is pressing on the switch. If not, then check the switch 6600JB3001E and see if it is bad and needs to be replaced on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Wendy November 18, 2015 for Model Number LSC27950SW Hi, My ice maker flapper will open to allow ice most of the time but never will retract back up to seal. Is it the flapper I need to replace or the solenoid reversing valve? I see that it is no longer available so is there another part? Thanks
Abraham September 04, 2015 The images of 6421JB2002R do not show the piston or plunger of this solenoid.. is it included ?
Mark July 29, 2015 for Model Number LSC27926ST Re: LG LSC27926ST Frig. It no longer dispenses ice or water and the small incandescent light in the dispensing area does not light up or stay on. I only here a click sound when dispenser switch is pressed but no ice door opens or even makes noise. Ice maker creates and dumps ice normally into the ice drawer. Water filter has been replaced recently. Wires in door wiring harness seem good. This problem began initially while dispensing ice. A couple days before the dispenser stopped working I believe the unit would not switch to crushed ice from cubed or vica versa but otherwise dispenser appeared to work normally. Then It just suddenly stopped and would not work again. I noticed the crushed ice actuator solenoid was broke and melted. When I first unplugged it the auger still turned, but now that isn't working either. HELPPPPP!
1 Answer Hello Mark. Make sure all wiring is good. If so, the pcb EBR35934401 will need to be replaced. If the issue continues, the main pcb EBR58010501 may need replaced also. The solenoid shorted it out. Be sure and replace that solenoid also. Read More...

Yooper February 07, 2015 for Model Number 79579753904 We press button for ice to dispense and it makes a sound like it is trying to crush ice even when it is on cube setting. then the flapper door stays open long after you release the button while making the same sound. Is this the solenoid? We have a Kenmore elite, model # 79579753904 I do not believe it is the solenoid that switches between crushed and cubed ice. There is two solenoids, correct? any help would be greatly appreciated.
1 Answer Yooper, The most likely solenoid that has failed would be part number 6421JB2002B. If the dispenser is not dropping the ice then check the arm for the ice door where it connects to the solenoid as it may be damaged and not sitting under the solenoid arm in order to open the door. 1 Answer Chuck, The part number that you would need is the solenoid assembly which is part number 6421JB2002B. Read More...
John November 06, 2014 for Model Number LG refrigerator Model LSC27931SB After dispensing ice, the rubber cap does not close all the way. It leaves a 1/4 in gap that allows warm air to melt the ice which, in turn, freezes into a block of ice. Any suggestions on what is causing and how to fix? Many thanks.
1 Answer Hello John. You will need to order and replace the solenoid assembly 6421JB2002R on the unit. Read More...
