Michael June 29, 2016 for Model Number WM2010CW Is the model wm2010cw and wm 2016cw the same. I wish to order a spider for my wm2010cw but instructions only mention wm2016cw??
Julie May 20, 2016 for Model Number WM3470HVA I have a problem with the rinse cycle. It only lets me use hot water no matter what the cycle. Is there a way to get a totally cold wash and rinse cycle?
1 Answer Hello Julie, This actually sounds like the hot and cold water lines may be crossed. If not, there is an issue with the wiring or the control EBR78263901. I'm sorry but since there are programs in the control that monitor the water temperature, the wash temperatures cannot be adjusted. Read More...
Dana May 12, 2016 for Model Number wm2350hrc Lots of smoke - first from the soap dispenser, then from the drum when we opened it. washer seems to work fine though. it was during a sanitary load where the heater is used... could this be it? I don't see *any* talk about that so maybe it's the spider and it's just not bad enough unless the loads big?? I'm confused. also - does the spider part listed have the drive pin thing as part of it? is there a kit where I can order the spider assembly (including drive pin and seal) or do I buy each individually? thanks, Dana.
1 Answer Hello Dana. The bearings are bad and it is rubbing the boot on the front of the unit. You will need to replace both outer tubs and the spider on the unit and the boot if it is damaged as well. Read More...
Pax_In_Ma April 29, 2016 for Model Number LG WM2016CW Looks like the spider on our LG WM2016CW broke. I have not taken the machine apart yet but 1) the tub is not staying in place, 2) we got the burnt smell others have been talking about so am pretty sure it is the spider. The washer stopped working while spinning a load. I can not power on the washer anymore and am wondering if there could be more damaged than the spider, seal, bearings or is it normal for the washer not to power on when the spider is broken and the tub is dangling? What do you think? Thanks!
1 Answer Hello PAX_in_MA. Yes, it sounds like more is damaged than just the spider. The unit should still come on even with the spider damaged. You will need to check all wiring and the boards on the unit also. Make sure it didn't trip the break as well. Read More...
Mike April 10, 2016 What is the Spider outside dimension. (Or the tub inside diameter where the spider bolts to the tub.) for the LG 4434ER0003C Washing Machine Rear Spider.
1 Answer Mike, Unfortunately we do not have the outside dimensions of the spider on the unit. We are unable to determine this based off pictures and we are not at the warehouse where we can measure it. Read More...
Joe April 09, 2016 for Model Number WM2301HW The water does not drain completely from detergent dispenser.
1 Answer Joe, You will want to check to make sure that there is not water trickling into the dispenser as the unit is going through the cycle. This would be the most likely cause for water to be in the detergent dispenser. Possible water valve issue. Read More...
Candie March 02, 2016 for Model Number LG WM2016CW Our LG WM2016CW spider arm is broken. We are hoping to replace as the rest of the washer is till in good shape. We are unable to remove the bolts holding the spider arm to drum. I read another post that mentions thread locker. Any tips on how to remove?
1 Answer Hello Candie. Soak the bolts with some rust buster TJ93241 or PB Blaster to see if it helps to remove them from the unit. Read More...
