This is a spider arm assembly for washing machines. Another name for the spider is the rear tub support because it provides support for the outer tub. The spider has three legs that are approximately 10 inches long each. washing machines might need a new spider arm assembly if it is very noisy, if it shakes excessively while running, if the drum is emitting burning smells at high speeds, or if it is smoking. If upon visual inspection, the spider arm assembly is rusted or corroded, it will need to be replaced. The dryer drum may appear to have cracks, but this is how it is manufactured during the casting process. This is a genuine LG part and is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is sold individually. This specific spider arm assembly is compatible with washing machines that are LG and Kenmore manufacture.

Cathy S for Model Number WF338AAW/XAA

I have a Samsung front load washer that has been working fine until this morning...or so I thought. This morning I started a load of clothes, looked down, and my floor was soaked. I have now on two occasions found what I was thinking was rocks (I'm not sure why I would have even thought rocks possible) but now know it is pieces of metal in the little filter thing on the bottom right side. Visually: when I watch the water come in from the upper left side, through the door window, it looks like it shoots the water toward the glass not inside the drum. The floor gets wet, and twice when messing with it today after a short time the machine dinged and signaled nF (washer tried to fill but was unsuccessful (the water was on the floor)). Everything looks dry as far standing above and looking down the sides of the tub and checking after removing the back panel. There are no obvious hoses leaking. I also cleaned the hose screens which had a little sediment in them. I don't see that there was much talk of flooding going on when initially filling but it sounds like the deteriorating Spider Arm Assembly could be the culprit that is causing it. If the Spider Arm Assembly needs to be replaced, is it best to pull it apart prior to ordering so one would know if any other parts should be replaced?

Cathy, The spider would certainly cause the metal material in the drain filter and a leaking door boot could be causing the issue with the leaking. It would be recommended to pull the unit apart to make sure that there is nothing else needed.

Nate, presumably you mean the six(6) spoder mounting bolts that hold the spider to the back of the spin basket. The part number should be 4011FA4353E / 4011FA4353E . They are sold separately, so you will need to order six(6) (two per arm). The parts are in stock and available at this time. Thanks

Connor, By not changing the tub seal the unit could develop a leak around the seal. It is best that you would replace it at the same time as replacing the spider.

We are sorry but we are not set up to ship to Canada. We can only ship inside the United States.

Hello Jer, 4011FA4353E is a part number for LG spinner assembly bolts but since they are not on the parts list for the model provided, you may have to order the spin basket assembly 3045ER0021E to get the correct bolts if these do not fit.
