Greg, The best way to approach this would be to do a voltage test. Set the unit to a wash cycle and test the valve for 120 Vac. If there is 120 Vac then the valve will be the issue. If there is not 120 Vac then the issue will be a faulty control board.

Debbie, You're very close to being correct. First, open the dispenser drawer and remove the dispenser cup capss, check to make sure the syphon tubes on the underside of the caps aren't clogged or distorted. check the bottom of the dispenser drawer, make sure theres no debris or sediment in the bottom of the drawer. If all's OK, or the problem persists, replace the 5220FR2075L / 5220FR2075L Water Inlet Valve. Thanks,

Cliff, No, the cold water inlet valve does not control the hot water solenoid, they are independent of each other and controlled through the thermistor in the front of the tub, and power is supplied by the main control board. If the thermistor had failed you should have a "TE" error code in the display. You may want to check the inlet valve solenoids they should have a resistance of 800 to 1200 ohms resistance with a multi meter. Then check the wiring between the fill valves and the main control board 6871ER1058A / 6871ER1058A. If all's OK, replace the control board.
