For Lg Refrigerator Water Inlet Valve Assembly (Part Number: OEM13336851)

Charles for Model Number lg fridge lsc26905tt

the ice maker water tubes freezes and the water in the front flows very slowly. I open the back of the fridge and see if the water valve is blocked. Turns out there was a tiny piece of rock lodged in the connector where the water comes in from the wall. While examining this, i removed 2 of the tubes going into the water inlet valve. When i try to replace the tubes, the metal teeth is messed up. Where can i get replacement metal teeth for the vater inlet valve? thanks.

Charles, You cannot get the metal teeth of the connection for the water valve as a separate part. The water valve must be changed. In order to remove the tubing you have to push in on the ring around the tube and pull on the tube at the same time.

Hello Nathan. Check and see if the valve is leaking. If so, replace the valve. If there is no leak, make sure the fan motor is running to evaporate the water. If not, the fan motor 4681JB1029B may be bad on the unit.

Hello Darryl. Yes, it sounds like the valve is going bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. Remove the line from the valve and see if it drips there. If so, replace the valve.

Ernesto for Model Number lsc27950st

the part you are selling as replacement have one difference if you notice the inlet for the original have 4 electrical connectors, two valves one inlet and one outlet for water; the rest seem to be the same two outlets one for ice one for water.I know this is the part lg is selling as replacement for my refrigerator but now I connect, should I combine all or only use the water inlet? it means there are two electrical connection for the line that go to the filter...thank you ernesto

Ernesto, It appears that the part that you would need would be 5221JB2006K which does have 4 terminal connections to it. Normally when they make a change they will change the harness as well but did not for this model but can use the part previously mentioned.

Isaac for Model Number LSC27910SW (LG)

While moving my refrigerator, I clipped a water line on a door frame which resulted in a small cut. I went to put a new water line on but when I pulled the old one out of the water valve (on the fridge), there was a small metal retaining ring that came out with it. To describe (how it looked) in a better way, it looked like a small washer with rigid edges or a spinning lock washer. I'm under the assumption that this retainer was not meant to come out with the water line. That said, will it be okay and not leak without the retaining ring? Is there a replacement retaining ring that can be inserted into the valve? Or do I need to replace the entire valve?

Hello Isaac. It sounds like you broke the valve and will need to replace the valve on the unit.

Bharat, You will want to check to make sure that the unit is making ice when not dispensing. If not making ice then you will want to make sure that you have a good water filter in the unit. If the filter is new then it may be an issue of a bad filter head. If the icemaker is still making ice then you will want to check to make sure that the water valve is getting properly voltage to the water valve. If the water valve gets power but does not dispenser water then you will need a new valve.

Hello Troy, The complete water inlet valve assembly (AP4445614) will require replacement. This should correct the water leaking issue. When you install the new valve, squarely cut off about 1/4 inch of the water lines if they appear to have indentations in them. These indentations will prevent a proper seal.
