Franco April 18, 2017 for Model Number DW80F800UWS/AA-0000 Hi. My samsung dishwasher DW80F800UWS/AA-0000 show error code 1E. It start ok and after 10 to 15 min. it stop and 1E is displayed and most of the time there is water left in the dishwasher. I have inspected the hoses, the check valve in the pump assembley and the check valve in the short hose right after the pump. I have find some screws that must have fall in from the previous installation but is all clear now. After I remove the screws it did completed one cycle,I was all happy!! After that I loaded the dishes and soap, and after 10 to 15 min the error 1E again ! Could be the ECS sensor or the turbidity sensor? Please Help I don't want to buy parts that I don't need. Thank you.
1 Answer Franco, This would be an overtemp error in which either the thermistor or the main control board would be faulty. The thermistor at room temperature of 77 degrees should read 50K ohms. If the resistance checks ok then the board is faulty. Read More...
Andrea January 04, 2017 for Model Number DW80F600UTS/AA-0000 My dishwasher fills and drains constantly for like 3-4 times then smart auto and heavy are flashing together. It doesn't wash or do anything else.
1 Answer Hello Andrea, This is a fault code indicating an issue with the flow meter DD82-01373A, main board DD92-00033C, or the water supply valve DD62-00084A. Read More...
1 Answer Hello Lucille. Make sure nothing has it in a bind and all the wiring is good. If so, then either the dispenser or the board is bad and will need to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
George G November 12, 2016 for Model Number DW7933LRASR/AA-0001 Washer was working now the control panel has no lights and dishwasher does not work except when start is pushed. It sounds like its draining but nothing else happens.
1 Answer George, This issue sounds like it would be caused by a faulty control board with there not being any lights and only draining. Read More...
Joe November 05, 2016 for Model Number DW80F600UTS/AA-0000 My Smart Auto and Heavy lights blink after a few minutes of running. After some research I found it best to attempt to replace the A/S ASSY-SENSOR ECS DD82-01118A part. I cannot find this part on my machine. On other feeds I have found answers stating the same problem is the Thermistor (which I can find). Which part needs replaced? Does my DW have a Thermistor and not an ECS Sensor? What is the difference in the 2 parts?
1 Answer Joe, The ECS sensor on your unit will be part number DD82-01118A and is located on the side of the sump assembly. Read More...
Adam October 24, 2016 for Model Number DW80F600UTS/AA-0000 My auto and heavy lights are flashing showing a Over-level water limit. I have since ordered and replaced the Case Brake and it still is running this error. The wash will run for almost a full cycle before stopping and the 2 lights flashing. Dishes are almost clean, but not fully rinsed or dried. I have read a new ECS could do the job - or could be the main PCB dd92-00033c. Any insight would be appreciated. I don't want to keep ordering parts with no fix in sight! Before I replaced the case brake the load would sometimes only run for a few minutes. Now it runs almost all the way through. So only partially fixed. TIA
1 Answer Adam, This issue would either be a water valve that is not fully closing or the main control board being defective. With this occuring towards the end of the cycle it would be more likely the main control board is the issue. The main PCB is DD82-01139B. Read More...
Jeff October 19, 2016 for Model Number dw80j3020us Samsung Dishwasher getting lashing lights Auto and Heavy will not drain. I see in some other post most likely cause is the ECS sensor DW80. just wanted to verify that would be the same with my model? thanks
1 Answer Jeff, Yes the flashing Auto and Heavy lights, indicate a water level sensor error on your model dishwasher as well. Read More...
Chris October 14, 2016 for Model Number DW80F600UTS/AA-0000 Sometimes, it will just fill and drain, fill and drain...in an endless cycle. Intermittently, can run the Samsung dishwasher on 'Heavy' through 2 prewash cycles and the wash cycle. It fills, washes, dispenses soap and discharges fine, before going to 'Dry'. Then the 'Smart Auto and 'Heavy' lights come on. At any time, I can use the '3 second' drain discharge, and it works fine. The pump seems fine (it was replaced 6 months ago_piece of glass jammed it and burnt it out) Could it be the ECS Sensor? If main PCB and/or ass-y case brake, may not be worth repairing?
1 Answer Hello Chris. Based on the information you provided, it does sound like the main pcb on the unit. Read More...
Dany April 08, 2016 for Model Number DW80F600UTS/AA-0000 I received a smart auto/heavy error code and replaced the ECS sensor part DD82-01118A when the unit was 2 years old. 6 months after replacing the sensor I received the same error code so I replaced the sensor again but it didn't fix the problem. Appliance Parts Pro sent another sensor thinking I may have received a faulty part but this did not fix the problem either. Based on reading the posts I'm wondering if I should just cut my losses and get another dishwasher or continue repairs. The control board replacement is quite expensive. Thanks!
1 Answer Dany, The ECS sensor would not be the issue with the unit. The Heavy/Smart Auto error is a over level water fill error and you will want to check the brake assembly to make sure that the switches and sensors are good. The other things that would cause this would be a faulty valve or a faulty control board. Read More...
Mike April 05, 2016 for Model Number dw80f800uws/aa constant E3 error codes for only 2 yrs old unit. Now 1E error code that won't allow the unit to run. Everything i read says its the thermistor so i purchased one and it appears not to fit.(part dd32-00005a) now i see the ECS sensor might be the problem pls advise if you can.
1 Answer Mike, For the 2 error codes that you are getting, the are both high temp heating errors. The thermistor and the main control board would be the cause of the failure. Since the thermistor has already been replaced then the issue would most likely be in the control board. Read More...
