Phil June 23, 2018 for Model Number DW80F600UTS Hello. I am changing the brake case assembly and just wondering if it matters which connection the two drain hoses are connected to. The short drain hose must have split when I pulled it off so i have to change that out.
1 Answer Phil, Yes it does matter which hoses go to which. They should be lined up where they flow side by side each other and should be the short hose to the front and longer hose to the back or as you are looking at the side of the unit the short hose to the right and the long hose to the left. Brian S April 08, 2018 for Model Number samsung DW80J3020us/AA Sitting on my work bench connected to cold water line, cause it didn't work in the house on hot water line Just trying to fix it. Drain works fine, water enters machine fills up stops filling then 4-5 clicks stops does nothing then after 15-20 min the pumps goes on worm water comes out drain hose and repeats cycle over and over. The troubling thing is their is NO ERROR CODE ?
1 Answer Brian, You will want to check to make sure that there is 120 vac going to the wash motor. If there is power but nothing happening then this will be a faulty motor. If there is not power then the control board is faulty and would need replaced. Read More...
Khurram September 04, 2016 for Model Number samsung DMT610 I have a Samsung Dishwasher. It is showing error 5E. Initially it was showing error 9E and then I washed the water panel (Leveler) and refitted it. Now it is showing error 5E. The water is not going beyond certain point . I have checked all valves and these are properly open. But still the water is not coming into the dishwasher.
1 Answer Khurram, The 5E error would be a drain error which means that when off status of low level switch is not detected within 3 minutes during the drain. Check for alien particles clogging the drain hose that there is something clogged in the drain itself. Check connectors on the drain pump. The possible causes for this would be a bad drain pump, water level sensor and Main PBA. Since there was a issue with the water level sensor then this would be the most likely cause of the failure. Jake June 11, 2016 for Model Number DW80F800UWS/AA-0001 I'm getting the the OE error. The unit will start to fill with a little water, then drain and flash the OE error. I replaced the water valve but am still getting the issue. Is this the correct part to replace?
1 Answer Hello Jake, This is listed by the manufacturer as an over-level water error. As per the manufacturer check the connections to the overflow sensor, Verify water inlet, verify water is not getting into the unit when the valve is not energized, make sure there is no water leak on top of the water case sensor, and verify the Over Level Water Error is detected when the connector is disconnected from the Overflow Sensor. If the brake is defective, DD82-01373A is the correct part for this model. If not, the control DD82-01139A is the most likely cause of the issue. Read More...
Alan February 19, 2016 for Model Number A/s Assy-Case BRAKE;DW80F800UWS,DW80F600 I installed Brake and dishwasher worked great several times. When i opened the door during the wash cycle one time i thought it would continue washing after closing the door. It just continued to run..... on an on. When i turned it off ....the light over Heavy came on and no functions work, well, except drain. The manual says the light over heavy means LEAKAGE. What does that mean.
1 Answer Hello Alan. You will need to check and see if the unit is leaking under the unit. It sounds like it is leaking somewhere. Read More...
Justin December 15, 2015 for Model Number DW80F800UWS/AA-0001 I purchased part #AP5789093 after getting error 9e low water level.. I installed the new part and it threw the error again.. Any ideas on any other parts that could be causing this error? Water line is new and just randomly started doing this.. It doesn't have the float like the older models..
1 Answer Justin, You will want to check the water valve on the unit to make sure that there is no issue with a clogged valve. The low water error would be that not enough water is entering the unit in a satisfactory time. If the valve checks ok then the control board will be the issue. Read More...
