Patrick, The most likely cause for the door not closing would be a broken latch at the point where the spring would attach. The part number for the latch is DE64-00760A and to access the latch you would need to use a flat blade screwdriver to get in between the inner and outer door and pop the inner door loose.

Harry, The latch part number is DE64-00760A and the spring is DE61-00048A. To replace you will need to do the following. 1. Open the Assembly Door by degree 90º 2. Seperate lifting Assembly Door from Set. 2. Insert flat screwdriver into the gap between Door “A” and Door “C” to remove Door “C”. • Becareful when handling Door “C” because it is fragile. Door "C" is the inner frame part of the door. From this point you will be able to remove the old latch and replace along with the spring.

Jean, There will be a hook on the inner part of the door that will allow you to attach the spring to the inner door of the unit.

Bruce, Unfortunately I am unable to pull up the model number of the unit to advise on whether the spring is the correct one for your unit. As far as getting to the latch, you will need to use a putty knife and pop the inner door loose from the outer door. This will allow access to the spring and latch.
