Matt November 16, 2017 for Model Number Dacor ECS130 The oven is slow to heat up in baking mode. Have two of these. Replaced the heating element which did not solve the problem. Any suggestions? If it's the relay board, is it located in the back of the unit which would have to be pulled out from wall to access it?
1 Answer Hello Matt. It could be the relay board. It is located under the access panel in the top of the unit. You will need to uninstall the unit from the wall to access it. Thank you. Read More...
Jon November 16, 2017 for Model Number Model Number ERD30S06CH When oven is turned to BAKE there is no heat. Broil and Pure Convention is working. Is this the correct board to replace and causing the problem?
1 Answer Hello Jon. Yes, the relay board DE81-09179A provides the power for the bake element. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Chuck November 13, 2017 for Model Number ERD30S06CH The broiler element and self-clean no longer work. Will replacing part AP3851203 fix this issue? Thanks!
1 Answer Hello Chuck. Test the relay board and see if it quit sending power out to the element. If so, you will need to order and replace the relay board on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Frank October 21, 2017 for Model Number CPD227 Lower oven will not energize any of the 3 heating elements. Upper oven works fine. Replaced lower oven relay board (62681) and the ERC controller. High temp limit switch appears to be OK. When pressing any lower oven heating function, the "prebake" icon will illuminate. This is followed by the "on" icon. At this point one should hear a relay click as is the case with the upper oven. Do you know what would cause failure of any of the lower oven relays to "click"? I have not replaced the main relay board (92029).
1 Answer Frank, This issue sounds like it would more than likely be that the lower oven relay board is not getting proper power which would indicate a main relay board issue or a wiring issue. Read More...
Geo October 09, 2017 for Model Number MCS130 What are the two secondary output voltage values from T1 on your relay board #92028. Also do you have a name of somewhere where the Ti Dale IPL-1429-104 tranxsformer can be bought?
1 Answer Unfortunately Geo. The manufacturer does not list values for the components of the board and doe snot sell parts for the board. If the board is bad, It needs to be replaced. Thank you. Read More...
Robert August 23, 2017 for Model Number Electrolux Stove #CEW30EF6GSE A relay switch on the power relay board over heated and actually started to burn. Can I replace the relay switch or do I need to change the whole board? Could there be a reason why this happened? Thank you
1 Answer Hello Robert, You will need to replace the board 316443920 to correct this issue. The cause could have been a faulty component or just a point of high resistance causing a condition of high current flow. Read More...
Jon August 05, 2017 for Model Number ERD30S06CH My oven will not bake or broil but pure convention will work. I do not get any error codes. Had two repair companies look at it and they are in conflict what board to replace. Is this board the correct board to replace?
1 Answer Jon, Based on your post information and description, Yes, the DE81-09179A / 92028 Relay Board, would be the correct part to replace. You most likely have a failed DLB or L2 Relay on the board and are not allowing 220-240 VAC to the bake or broil element and they won't heat properly. The part is in stock and available at this time. Bill June 03, 2017 for Model Number Dacor CPS 103 PB Have a CPS130PB. Recently flashed an F2 code for Alarm Heating Mode High Temperature. We shut unit off at breaker. Checked a few days later and oven worked fine. The other day, the element shorted out. Need to replace element, but what other parts should we look at?
1 Answer Hello Bill. You will need to check and see if the relay stuck on the board and caused the code. If so, you will need to replace the relay board on the unit. Read More...
Mike B March 04, 2017 for Model Number MCS127B Need to replace the relay board (92028) in my Dacor MCS127 wall oven. I've removed the front bezel and can get to the front of the board but can't get enough access to remove it. Is there a way to slide out the sheet medal housing the board is mounted on?
1 Answer Mike, Unfortunately the metal housing will not slide out and you would need to pull the unit out from the wall and remove the main top on the unit to get the relay board out. Read More...
David K February 24, 2017 for Model Number ECS130SCH Bottom element doesn't get hot in bake. I tested resistance but 50 ohms is hard to read on a 100K scale. A new element did not make any difference. The next suspect from the chatter seems to be the 92028 relay board, but it would be nice to test it somehow before spending $$ on another random replacement. Any advide on testing, and a link to a manual which might show how to get to it? Thanks
1 Answer Hello David. You can test for 120 volts from the relay board to the element. If not there, replace the relay board. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
