Hello Diane, This is not a difficult repair. You should first unplug the microwave. Then look at the top edge of the microwave for two screws that thread straight down toward the floor. Removing these two screws will make it possible to remove the air grill with the door open. This will expose the single screw above the control panel. Removing this screw will enable you to slide the control panel up. Pulling out on it will allow it to tilt out for access to the inside of the unit. At this time it is recommended to take multiple pictures from different directions so you will know what wires go where during the reassembly process. Remove the wires and unhook the panel from the clip that holds it to the unit and you can replace the keypad on the countertop. Reassembly is simply the reverse of this process.

Bonnie, while it is possible that the switch membrane could be the issue, if the control will recognize each key being pressed then the most likely issue would be with the main control DE94-01999A. Unfortunately, if the control does recognize each key being pressed, it is a discontinued item and is no longer available from the manufacturer.

Inge, the control panel for your model is going to be part number [DE94-02001C], which includes the switch membrane, facia, and inlay. It does not include the main control RAS-SM7MGV-07.

Ronald, more than likely your control [DE94-02414K] is the cause of this as it is responsible for not only controlling the parts, but also functioning as an operating timer. Unfortunately this part is discontinued by the manufacturer and is no longer available.

Ryan, For this issue the most likely cause will be a faulty control panel. The panel part number is DE94-02411A.

Hello Allen. You will need to test the door switches and see which ones may be bad on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
