Joe September 12, 2014 I have a Frigidaire dishwasher Model # PLD4050RHC1 I am getting the error code for the vent fan being open. I am trying to test the vent fan part 154861101 to see if bad. I did an ohms test and it read 190 between contact 1 & 5. Is this a problem. What is the best way to test this part? TY

Danmariana@Aol.Com April 18, 2014 for Model Number FGHD2433KF1 Error code uo or ou.I opened the inner door panel but there is no fan motor like one in your picture.It is only a duct and the vent with the grill on the other side.There is no wire to the vent even so the wire schematic shows a fan.It is possible that is located any other place.I checked under where the motor pump assm is but I did not see anything.Any ideas? On the tech sheet found says that vent is open?

Is there a diagnostic test to see if it is either one? I would hate to by the vent assembly only to find out it's the control board.

The plunger status is sensed with an optical sensor in the vent. Check the wiring between the vent assembly and the main control board. Jerry October 15, 2012 for Model Number GLD4050RHS1 Hi, we are getting the UO Error Code (Vent Open) on our Frigidaire dishwasher (Model #: GLD4050RHS1). I was able to remove the vent assembly, clean it thoroughly and reassembly. I can hear the motor turning (and actually see it attempting to open the vent when the dishwasher isn't pushed back into the counter), but I still get the error. I was planning on purchasing a new vent assembly and installing it, but I'm not sure it will make a difference. If this part is failing, would the motor still turn?

Follow the diagnostic test mode and it will toggle each device individually and if needed it will pop up a fault code of the circuit needing diagnosed.
